Apesar do belo imóvel, e dos quartos confortáveis, o atendimento é péssimo. 
A chegada lá foi uma tragédia.. a funcionária me vendo descarregar 6 volumes, me enchendo o saco com portão aberto e não me ajudando.
Com a desculpa do Covid, têm um comportamento bizarro, café da manhã numa caixa de isopor (ruim), evitam te dar um xícara...
As funcionárias da cozinha fizeram o possível para serem simpáticas.
A multiplicidade de regulamentos e plaquinhas etc demonstra uma obsessão estranha com controle autoritário.
Cerquinhas, caminhos obrigatórios ineficientes, plantas espinhosas completam a estranha experiência. 
O oposto do espírito hospitaleiro que deve reger um hotel. 

Despite the beautiful property, and the comfortable rooms, the service is terrible.
The arrival there was a tragedy .. the employee watching me unload 6 volumes, annoying me about an open gate and not helping me.
With Covid's excuse, they have a bizarre behavior, breakfast in a Styrofoam box (bad), avoid giving you a cup ...
The multiplicity of regulations and signs, etc., shows a strange obsession with authoritarian control.
Fences, inefficient mandatory paths, spiny plants complete the strange experience.
But some of the kitchen staff did their best to be friendly.
The opposite of the hospitable spirit that should govern a hotel.

Atendimento ruim - NOT Recommended

The hotel is simple, but a very nice option in Soure, at Marajó Island.
The room is very clean, in a good size and has everything you need for a nice stay.
The breakfast is simple, with limited options, but it has good quality and it worth.
The staff is nice and help when you need.
If you want to eat some pizza when you stay at the hotel, just go to the house neighbor to the hotel and ask for Gustavo. He is a guy that worked at the hotel in the past and now makes pizza when he is in the city. He makes a really good pizza that you can pick up to eat at the hotel.
The location of the hotel is good, a little far from city center, but it is not an issue.

Great option at Soure

We booked our stay because of an article in a magazine. But actually the booking process is already super complicated... you have to transfer 100% on a bank account within a few days. Nevertheless we did a reservation for two nights and received a confirmation with “helpful” information. Part of this information was also the ferry boat times which we used to book out flight connection.
Only one day before the reservation we learned when buying the boat tickets in Belem that the connections given don’t run on Sunday - so we have to go back already Saturday and must have cancelled one night. After our discussion with the central hotel management they don’t want to give us back the money for one night (220 BRL which is rather expensive for the town).
For us this is very short thinking and I guess it is a typical case where the hotel is in bankrupcy in two years and wonders why...
What else to mention?
- The total hotel has seen better times. Everything is a bit run down. Probably for this they need our 220 BRL.
- In the night we had some uninvited guests (cockroaches) - but probably we should be happy not having to pay an extra bed for them.
- No shampoo in the bathroom. A bit strange for a hotel.
- Really positive was the local staff which was really trying to help and made some proposals what to do in our remaining day.

Ignorant

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for two nights. The rooms are spacious and have high ceilings. The bed is big but rather hard. The shower has little pressure, but the water comes out warm. Breakfast was basic but okay. The grounds are well kept. It was very quiet while we were there (3 out of 10 rooms occupied). Also the reception of the hotel was hardly open and no information on what could be done in Soure is provided. Luckily we had pre-booked excursions, so we did not need to know much, but if you only have reserve the hotel, this lack of information is awkward. Location is good, even though it is not in the center of town, a fifteen minute walk takes you there

Pleasant stay

I liked the hostel location, the place  vibes and the rooms are big enough, no good Wi-Fi connection you have to be right next to the router and still it's pretty bad, the staff is great and the breakfast too. I hope to go again for a longer visit...

Nice place 

We had a last-minute problem that cut short our trip in 1 day. But the hotel had already charged us for the full reservation. As with any last-minute problem, it occured without taking the cancelation policy into account.
Upon our arrival, we tried to negotiate getting at least a partial refund for the day we would not be staying at the hotel.
Although the hotel was quite empty at the time (so obviously they were not missing business due to us), they kept trying to dodge our contacts and did not speak to us about the early check-out, always mentioning that the decision needed to be made by someone we could never find.
2 weeks later, they finally confirmed that they would not return any part of our money, according to the cancellation policy. 
Although they are right on paper, we felt they were very inflexible for being on an island with so little transportation possibilities. In this island, MANY last-minute problems are prone to occur.
Anyway, I hope the 1-day charge they kept from us will help their finances.
