It could be a nice place to stay, but it's look like that the owners give up to car about it. 
And still wants a good price for it...
Theres are much better offers in Maracaipe (services and prices).
And I was disappointed with the tripadvisor reviews, It's look like that they are misused or hacked...

Expensive for a bad service and an uncared environment

We've been twice to this charming pool located on the wonderful beach of Maracaipe, in a very quiet area three quarters of a mile from the port of galinhas here is peace and relaxation with beautiful spacious and curved bungalow rooms... only regret that Lorena decided not to do any more restaurant, it was very comfortable and of quality.

Real relaxation

The Pousada is a little outside of Porto de Galinhas, but it's worth it. Much quieter and more beautiful than in PdG. Very generous rooms with everything you need. A very rich breakfast with a very sympathetic owner who has an answer to all questions and a good tip. She speaks English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.

Beautiful Pousada and friendly Lorena

A beautiful pousada right on the wide sandy beach of Maracaipe, about 3 km from Porto de Galinhas. The decision to live outside Porto was the best. The B&B is very nice, our bungalow was spacious and the hanging-matte porch invited us to stay. The owner Lorena is very helpful and friendly. Always ready to give us valuable tips. She speaks English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese, by the way. The rich breakfast is served in the garden and is very good. We had a wonderful stay in Maleleo and will definitely come back here if we should be in the garden. Thank you very much Lorena!

Nice B&B and a great location

We stayed at the Maleleo B&B for 9 nights and would definitely recommend it! The little chalets that Lorena and her husband are renting are really sweet and the breakfast is marvellous!

There are just some things you have to consider when you stay here:

1) The pousada is located on Maracaipe beach that is a 25 - 30 minutes beach walk from Porto de Galinhas, restaurants and bars are open during the day, but you better stay in Porto in the evening. Transportation is organized by Lorena (she knows a buggy driver called Sergio who will bring you to PdG for only 10 Reais!!!).

2) The sea is very rough, we did not bother to go into the water, but the beach is nice and the sunbeds in front of the pousada are relaxing - only the traffic on the beach road that separates the pousada from the beach is sometimes a bit annoying (especially at the weekend)

3) The Maleleo is also home to many cats and dogs, so don't be afraid of these animals

4) The neighbors like to party at the weekend and they start to play loud music at 10 o clock in the morning (and stop around 3 or 4 in the night)!!! So if you like it quiet bring some earplugs :o)

Other from the above mentioned facts we really felt very welcome and Lorena is the perfect host. She gave us a lot of tips and printed information about the area and Recife for us. She mixed us drinks when her employee was not around, she made sure we got fresh towels for our trip to Maragogi and did a lot of other things to make us feel comfortable.

So we definitely recommed to stay there if you like to experience something special and not the usual boring 4 star hotel accommodation...

Beautiful and relaxing vacation at Maracaipe beach

We stood at Maleleo Bed and Breakfast for two nights.
It is almost at the end of the Maracaipe beach, 3km form Porto de Galinas.
We decided to stay here because Porto de Galinas is really a touristic place so nice for one night (dinner, hanghing around, drinks and shopping) but not to sleep at.....
Lorena, the owner is a very nice lady and, booking with one day advice she can cook for you and you can eat in the beautifull bristo.
Breakfast is just great, the best we had in all our Brasilian trip.
We chose the "house in the forest", a great palce truly hidden into the beautifull garden of the B&B.
If you go there don't miss the Ippocampus trip that starts just 5 minutes more south where the river hits the sea.
