I’m sure the readers find other reviews about the hotel facilities and services. In general they are all very good, well maintained and safe. As the staff is nice and helpful, however during these COVID times it's important to note the safety protocols as well. While there are several measures in place to avoid dirct contact, use of gloves as masks in the restaurant buffet, sometimes those protocols were not enforced by the hotel staff to some of the guests, as if they were embarassed to request or deny service for people not following the rules, with some good exceptions, of course.
The recreation team, while very kind and made a good job entertaining the kids, also made questionable decisions - one game I observed, had the kids playing with plastic cups to fill up a bucket with water. Inevitably, they end up all soaking wet, including their masks, which are no longer effective once they get wet.
The hotel is a great family fun, with all sorts of activities, but some of them should be changed or discontinued to decrease the chance of COVID19 contamination

Very good family hotel, however...

We stayed 4 days in Hotel Fazenda Mazzaropi and we could have stayed another week there. The place is very well run by a local family, the staff is incredible well trained, super efficient and always smiling. Clearly the hotel thought about any needs if you have small children. There are many activities for the little ones from riding horse, riding a boat in the lake, fishing, milking the cow, etc.. there are different activities for children from 2 years to 12 years. The rooms are simple but with everything you need with small children. The food ( it is an all inclusive system ) is amazing: high quality, very well cooked and with many many varieties in each meal. Be prepared to gain some pounds here !  All in all in you want to take your little ones to a “farm”, Hotel Fazenda Mazzaropi is your best option around São Paulo area. It is not cheap but the food, service and activities provided more than justify the daily rates. We will definitely go back! 

A place if you have little ones 

Traveling w/ wife and our 15 month old daughter. Top notch service. Not too spacious room but exceptionally clean. Great food, great pools. The whole place is taken care of extremely well, including the animals. Staff is undoubtedly the best thing about the hotel, they will try to meet guests' needs in every way they can.

Paradise for small children and great for adults as well

The hotel is located at 500m from a military base, helicopters are flying low altitude over the hotel all day long and sometimes at night.
Familly hotel with lots of children, lunches and diners are noisy there are kids crying all the time.
The hotel is rated 4 times any other hotel in Taubaté, this is overated.
I was there for a business trip and I had to cancel the last night, the management of the hotel charged me the canceled night although the hotel was far from being full. I'd never seen that within 15 years of business trips all around the globe.
The staff was very nice and pleasant.

Overated and no flexibility

Nowhere else have I pulled back the curtains in the morning to see a rabbit digging a hole in front of the French windows!

For young children there are activities and a playroom, they can milk a cow or ride a pony.

The buffet food was excellent, especially on New Year’ Eve. And the firework display was amazing, enhanced by the full moon. 

Perfect for children - and their family 

My children liked the activities and staff; the food is good and varied.
The highlight for the table of sweets. Try the dulce de leche (tasty).
It is also worth knowing the alembic (there is guided tour).

Good for children and adults

Out of all the family friendly resorts we have travelled to around the world, this was by far the most entertaining for the kids. There are well programmed, properly supervised activities from 9.20 am until 10 at night! The children are given full access to all the animals on site, they can carry, feed, and learn to care for them. As well as all the contact with farm animals, there are art sessions, games and pool activities throughout the day/evening. The rooms are clean, and air conditioned. The food is great. The grounds are very well kept. The monitors who look after the kids are really committed, fun and responsible (tia Lu and tio Todinho in particular were simply amazing). This was a holiday my kids will always remember and we look forward to going back soon.
