Worst hotel and restaurant ever food was terrible and service was the worst ever I pull not recommended to anyone this place should be closed and should be closed the staff are waiting terrible.. we order macrol and for sprats crazy the we’re crazy

Worst place ever

We returned this year to discover that a previous owners son had taken over and to our delight was equally amazing Vesco and Dayan made us feel like part of the family we ate here on many occasions and drunk here even more!! Food was sooooo good my favourites being breaded yellow cheese, Butter Mushrooms and all steaks!!! Portions are generous in all aspects!! But what made us go back time and time again is the atmosphere, the laughs we had with Vesco and how nothing was too much bother!! We will be returning next year for more Lava Cake and Spaghetti Bolognaise and to meet back with our good friends!! Thanks for making our holiday fabulous!!!

Balchik’s Jewel

The Irish Rover (Pub and restaurant) is a Great place, one of our favouriteplaces in Balchik! 
Good food and friendly staff! We recommend the t-bone steak, tasted fantastic. Nice place, We like the rough interior and the terraces. We went to Irish Rover in summer 2018 

Very nice restaurant 

This is a fun bar also with some accommodation (I wasn't staying but might in the future after I discovered there are rooms upstairs).  There's good food and music, staff speak good English which is rare in this area. They go out of their way to make you welcome.

Stellar atmosphere

On our way to get a taxi we stopped here for a drink and ended up staying for three!  Beers 2.00 LV.  Raki 2.00 LV.  Fancied something sweet so had a portion of lava cake at LV 4.90 - very tasty.

Pity we came here at the end of our holiday, as there was a very friendly atmosphere and the waiters were very entertaining!

We didn't stay in the hotel but we were in the bar every night we were in Balchik, The food is excellent and we recommend the steaks! George Rudi and Kano were amazing hosts and they kept us entertained, we had such a laugh with them everyday! We will miss them lots when we return to England but will return to see them next year! This is Balchik's hidden Gem and the staff make it such an amazing place to be!! My 5 year old loved being here as they interacted with him and made him feel special! Thanks You so much from all of us 💖

Our Go To Place

We came to the restaurant twice when we were in Balchik, George was amazing, all the staff were friendly. The food was delicious. The Restaurant has a lovely outdoor area. The duck in blueberry sauce is great, the chicken and mushrooms were also good. The hotel was unfortunately booked out, we would love to have stayed.

Fantastic Staff, great food and cold beer.

The hotel is good and the manager is a great person. The rooms are clean and cozy. There are some rooms with a beautiful sea view. The terrace is nice, the food is delicious, verry good music and staff. Please try'it.

Value for money

The hotel is basic, but good, and have a good location. very good restaurant, nice personnel, delicious food, good music in the evening. A very nice place to enjoy original Guiness beer together with family or friends, singing along with the performer evergreen music...
We stayed here also a few years ago and we will definitely come back..
