We went to Balchik for one weekend in order get some hours at the beach and to visit Queen Mary's Palace. The Palace gardens and the see were very nice, but what was unexpectedly fabulous, was the accommodation at Retro House. A old house, lovely rebuild by lovely people. Lady Anuka and mister Alexander are fabulous hosts. Lovely people, that talk to you nice on any themes, that have nice stories to tell, especially about the house they rebuild in 19th Century style. Romes are spacious, the furniture is like a fairy tale, but still all needed utilities are place. They offer exceptionally breakfast, cooked by mister Alexander. Balchik was interesting, but the most about our trip there was about Lady Anuka, mister Alexander and their lovely house.
