Villa Bizeff

Rented this chalet with 14 others during the Horizons festival in Bulgaria and had one of my best holidays ever. All the rooms were clean and had everything necessary, food was provided every morning as well as a 3 course meal in the evening which was well needed after long day of skiing. The fridge constantly fully stocked with more beer than we could handle. However, the real highlight of our stay was the owner/caretaker of the property, Boris. Not only is he polite and respectful, but constantly went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and never inconvenienced. It is worth noting that the villa is approx 5 min car journey (25 min walk) away from the gondola and main part of Bansko, but Boris dropped us off in the morning and picked us up in the evenings, we never waited longer than 15 mins for him. One of our party was badly injured and taken to the hospital in the next village, and Boris helped us immensely by driving a few of us there and staying to wait for the doctor with us to help with translations. I have to admit, we were a noisy and messy bunch but the staff were excellent, cleaned up our mess every day and left us in privacy despite also living on-site, this was very much appreciated. The actual facilities are nothing special but nothing is lacking and if you want the best service in town look no further.
