Great place! The service was good  and the food was really tasty. Our room was cosy. We arrived earlier but but since our room was ready there ws no problem to check in. Definitely will come back with my family.

Recommendation

Cons:
1. Personal doesn't speak english 
2. Bad services
3. We were told that we have sauna anytime we want, and when we arrived there you have to reserve the sauna. The sauna interval was only from 5 PM to 9 PM,also the sauna is very small(for 4 persons)
4. The Jacuzzi does not exist
5. Rooms are dirty.
6. Took near 1h to make the check in

Poor Quality

Waited 5 minutes fir menu,  then 20 minutes to take my order... And then we left because nobody came. Horrible service,  can't comment on food. Prices looked ok,  but food was far from our grasp. Cold interior as well.

The hotel is like the old houses that were built in Bansko, with an old style. Even the restaurant is in that style with old chairs and tables, fireplace and pottery. The rooms are small and there wasn't any terrace in my room. I was near the stairs and it wasn't a good room for me because I want to get some rest and not to hear all the people that are passing up and down the stairs. Especially young teenagers are disturbing after midnight. The rooms are not soundproof so be careful choosing this hotel if you like to have a quite holiday. Also I didn't like the fact the the restaurant is out of the hotel about 30 meters, so for breakfast, still not awaken, you need to dress up well in order to go to eat! I guess this hotel is only for teenagers!

Nothing special!

I found the food very good, service OK but no English spoken at all. The prices weren't cheap but not all that expensive. The problem came when I asked for the bill, which arrived as a printed slip with just a single total. Luckily I had an idea what I'd spent and knew it was wrong. With no common language, I asked for the menu, went through and added everything up for her, gnored her 'bill' and just paid what it cost.

It's not acceptable to offer unitemised bills, otherwise this would have a higher score.

Valevitsata restaurant (not hotel)

This review is about the tavern, not the hotel.

Pros:
1 food was tasty
2 mehana is stylish, as soon as you go in there is a huge barrel with bottled beer inside and cold water flows through it and fire places etc

Cons:
1 food and drinks are very expensive, we had 2 glasses of cheap wine, one kebab skewer, and one dish with meal and paid around 30 euros (you could 3 times as much for the same money in most other places)
2 as soon as you go in a waiter stands 5cm from your table in your face and doesn't go away all the while offering suggestions on what the best things are (the most expensive ones usually) also while saying that anything actually cheap on the menu is for little kids and not adults etc
3 once you order, you are being ignored until your food arrives
4 it has like 10 waiters which all but ignore you and go hide in the toilet so that they can speak on their mobile phone without the boss seeing them
5 my wife asked a female waiter for a glass of  water, waiter was very rude and pretended she  didn't understand, and then told the barman in Bulgarian not to give her water and probably swore at her because he laughed (and they didn't bring any water in the end)
We should have known not to go in, they also had a guy outside distributing leaflets for the tavern, usually these places are rip offs!
Avoid at all costs!
