11 reviewsWe stayed here for two nights in August and wish we had stayed longer. The hotel is extremely cosy, welcoming, and very well positioned right in the old town. We were given a room with a balcony with view on the old town itself, which was magnificent. The room itself was not particularly big, but the perfect size for two people to be very comfortable in. The bed was very nice, we slept well despite there being no A/C and it getting quite warm in the room (there are radiators for the winter though, might come back for a ski holiday). The host didn't speak English which made it quite hard to communicate, but she would get her daughter(?) to help out and she spoke it perfectly so we had no problems. The host was still extremely friendly and we managed to communicate visually most of the time. Breakfast was very nice, nothing to complain about. Something more traditional Bulgarian might have been welcome but it was still very good. In the end, when you consider how cheap it all was (25lv per person per night), it certainly didn't feel that way. I would have been happy to pay much more for this quality, highly recommended.
