The Springs

I visited the hotel on a school trip. The food was delicious. The rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable. The top-floor apartment overlooks the road and a level where horses and cows graze every day. The mineral pool is wonderful. It is not suitable for swimming due to the high temperature of the water, but you can relax and unwind.

I enjoyed my stay at Vita Springs, had good time with my friends and I had a perfect view of Pirin Mountain from my room. Rooms are cleaned every day, pool side was also very good. One of the problem is that there are no public transport to nearest villages, but if you like walking it will be very interesting and very beautiful because of the landscapes. Also it's easy to hitch hick in that area. 

We visited this hotel because of its hot, thermal waters used in the swimming pool. The kids loved it, and also did we. There is also hot tub, dry sauna and Turkish sauna. The grounds are just fine, don't expect 5 star luxury but everything was fine. The apartment we had was big enough to fit 4 adults and 2 kids. Heating was on all the time, again pleasant for the kids after the swimming pool. One thing that could be approved is the breakfast, it was rather limited with not much fruits or vegetables. 
The hotel is 3 km from Bansko town center with a really nice views of the mountains. Saying that, you will need a car, I believe even if you are there to go skiing. 
Overall, great bargain as we paid €50 for a night for two bed apartment. 
Recommended for the hot thermal water.

Very good place to stay 

Great for kids 

It was a while since we went there. To tell you the truth, the room needed renovation. Carpet, bed, mattresses, other furnishing are worn out. At least the linen and bathroom were clean. You could say the same about the balcony. Not sure about the carpet. We were on a holiday vacation, so the room wasn't so important. Also we had a nice view from the room. We were on a HB, and I could say that the meals were enough and also tasty. Well, meals weren't something fancy, but we didn't expected it to be. We have tried the SPA part. It is a large swimming pool, with hot water and a kid's part. There is also one jacuzzi. In that part of the SPA section, water was dripping from the roof. The also have sauna and a steam bath, which had some problems.
The title of the review says it all. We didn't have any problems during and after the stay, but the hotel is somehow neglected. You can see that all around.
Would recommend it if it's for a low price, and you are unassuming, but still, I wouldn't go back there.

Wouldn't go back

The hotel and all facilities are in urgent need for repair and maintenance. The room was dirty and no dayly service for cleaning or changing towels was provided. Bathrobes were quite old and worn. Mattresses and beds were uncomfortable and not suitable for sleeping. Meals were tasteless, limited and the hygiene was questionable. The service in the restaurant was law and unwelcoming. The swimming pool and spa area were unattended too, no maintenance or repair, the hygiene was low. Very bad management of the hotel,that affect the quests with unpleasant experience in every aspect. I cannot imagine such amendments and service exist nowadays. This place should be closed for major repair and then better looked after and maintained.

Disappointing experience

The 'spa' is just a swimming pool and a jacuzzi with cold drips from the ceiling everywhere you move. The pool did not have mineral water like it was advertised, it was just lukewarm. The chlorine pellets were still visible and gave myself and my partner a painful and itchy rash that is still here 4 days later. Our clothes also stink of chlorine, the smell is so strong it stank out the hotel room. The restaurant food was worse than prison food and was inedible and uncooked (pork and chicken). Breakfast was also shocking.The room was big but empty and the shower was lukewarm at best. Not even worth £30 to stay here! Would NOT recommend to anyone
