Came to the hotel after passing through looking for good hotel food. I must admit the food was amazing.   The service from staff was great.  We just got in and the rain started and the staff moved us into the garden porch which was lovely.     Myself and my partner will be returning!

we initially intended to stay two nights but ended up staying only one. room was perfect, location exactly what we wanted but service non existent.  we had the impression the owner/boss was not there and asked a few people to keep an eye on the place and they didn't get the booking.com reservation email.  they were not expecting us. we were alone in an empty hotel.  a temp was left to supervise the place at night. the lady in the morning didn't know how to work the coffee machine and we received two cold coffees, this was our breakfast included.  this is when we decided to leave.  good night sleep, good shower, but that was it.

great location, bad service

This charming little hotel seems really out of place in the tiny village of Koshov. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the restaurant provides good food and the staff is friendly. It is an excellent base for exploring the Rusinski Lom park – the Ivanovo rock churches and the Cheven fortress are very close and just down the street from the hotel is an access to the trail that runs in the river gorge. We had a long chat with the manager, a charming young lady who speaks excellent English. She told us about how the hotel has opened the villagers to the outside world, has brought them some revenue and how they are trying to develop eco-tourism in the park. We were slightly off-season (end of September) but still we apparently were lucky to get a room during the week-end. Reservations are therefore advisable, especially during the week-end.
