Family Hotel Strannopriemnitza

One of the few places I am willing to visit again and again. We have stayed once in the red studio and once in one of the luxury rooms. Very clean and comfortable. One definitely receives what they have paid for. Personnel is kind, unobtrusive and yet available when you need them.
Fantastic swimming pool and area around.
Restaurant is overall good: a rather short menu, we have tried a few things only, they have even prepared a packed food for our hike in the mountain, waiters are providing good service. Unfortunately restaurant bills cannot be charged to the room. 

Me and my family were very happy with our stay at Family Hotel Strannopriemnitza. This hotel has very nice room, great view towards the mountain and amazing food in the hotel restaurant. 

Because we went in February we could not use the outdoor pool, but that is why we want to visit again in the summer. 

We had an overall great experience at Family Hotel Strannopriemnitza.

Mountain region (Stara Planina), any season beautiful nature, fresh air. Historical place. Nice comfortable, clean rooms, good tasty, national food and drinks. People are friendly and helpful. Many festivals are organised - folk dancing and singing, plum festival, historical events, etc.

Clean, comfortable and stylish. During the summer gests can use the swimming pool and enjoy the view from the garden. Restaurant is in traditional Bulgarian stail . There you can taste traditional Bulgarian meals with excellent taste. Staff is very polite and friendly. I recommend!

Best hotel I've ever been to! Before staying there I read positive reviews but did not think it can actually be so good and even better! We had a bad weather for our stay but this did not make our stay any less special. The rooms are cozy, clean, modern, great view from balcony. It has an amazing tavern downstairs with reasonable prices and great quality. Staff is just superb!!! Had many wonderful chats with different receptionists. They even made a gift for us 'for crap weather' by allowing us to use the sauna (which is amazing, try it!!) for free! This place is just amazing, perfect location in beautiful nature. We even saw deer running around!! Would give this hotel 11 out of 10 if I could!

Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the Troyan area. Hotel is in a great location in Oreshak – you can walk to the Troyan Monastery. Wonderful views from the back over the pool area. You order Breakfast from a menu, rather than a buffet, which was nice. Had dinner in the restaurant both evenings, food was tasty. Room was good size and looked out over the view, very clean although slightly musty smell. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a great place to stay and relax.

The hotel has very good location and it's easy to find it. Comfortable and clean rooms with a mini bar, TV and a  balcony .There is a swimming pool in the garden - perfect relaxing place ! Staff is very friendly and helpful. You will find delicious food in the restaurant . Highly recommend to visit this hotel !

We arrived to be pleasently surprised. The room exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, clean and furnished with a lot of taste. The people running the hotel are really kind and making sure you feel wanted. The food in the restaurant is great!

The restaurant offers delicious local specialties, traditional Bulgarian cuisine. I recommend "Tetevensk brine" - fish soup with tomatoes and roasted trout, eggplant borek - a starter with aubergine, cheese, milk, walnuts, garlic and chicken leg steak.

The staff is very ignorant and unprofessional, making remarks in a very rude manner. It's an extremely child unfriendly place. We were shocked by the attitude towards the guests. I could say many more things, but I'll stop here.
