Hotel AKRE was an excellent experience and we will come back for sure. It is a big hotel with spacious modern rooms. Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the linen was fresh. We had free wi-fi, TV and air-conditioned. The bathroom was also spacious and smelled good and we had fresh towels. There is also a lounge space where you can socialise and a restaurant where the food is delicious. The breakfast was included in the price and it was very various and tasty. The owners vere very friendly with us and they speak English very good. We paid cash, local currency, at the check-in. The parking is safe and big.
The hotel is nearby Kaliakra Cape and Bolata Bay. We loved the experience at this hotel!

A big hotel in a little town

We got a big, clean, modern room. Everything, including the internet, is perfectly working. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the owner speaks bulgarian, english and german. The breakfast is really good. The small village is pretty and has a nice atmosphere, very good bars and restaurants only 5 minutes to walk from the hotel and the sea only 500 meters away. Beautiful nature everywhere, Cape Kaliakra can be reached by walking within 1.5 - 2 hours, which is a beautiful, interesting tour, and kavarna can be easily reached by bus. We had a very pleasant stay here and hopefully are coming back some time!

Very nice, new hotel with friendly staff

Stayed for two nights in October. The hotel is modern and clean. The room was big and the shower was powerful and hot. Cape Kaliakra is only a few kilometers away as is Bolata Bay (a must-see). The staff were friendly and helpful and the receptionist spoke excellent English. Breakfast choices were omelettes, French toast, toast, ham, eggs etc so a plentiful choice. The restaurant was closed for the season but the decor looked very nice. A warm, clean and comfortable base, situated in the middle of a neat and tidy village.

Good base for Kaliakra

Newly built hotel in area of Kavarna. The last viillage on the road to Kaliakra, which is a famous tourist spot. Excellent for bird watching base in all months of the year.

 Home cookomg, Soe typical Bulgarain dishes, hotel does  cater for those with dietary problems if you wanr them before arrival or on arrival. Excellent breakfast, buffet, almost too much to eat!! Try the banitsa!
 Rooms well equipped, balcony with patio set for sitting out in good weather, nice bathroom with Bulgarian style wet room. Only issue is that the  floor tiles can be a bit slippery when wet and there are no hand holds to steady you. Bed comfortable. . AC in the bedrooms.
 NIce dining room  with outside dining areas for the summer. The Rerception area is heated in the winter and has comfortable sitting and tables for coffee and snacks..

Family run excellent management and value - go there!

I think is one of the choices if you plan to visit northern seaside of Bulgaria and to avoid crowded places. 
This hotel is in a small clean and quite poor village, close to Cape Kaliakra, Bolata Beach, Russalka Resort (AWFULL!!! 14km) Tyulenovo coast (about 20 km from direct road,  wonderfull!) and 24 km from Balcik (wonderful garden and villa of Romanian queen Maria).
Good: cleaning every day, air conditioner, balcony (not every room), quite big rooms, silent, friendly employees.
Medium: food at their restaurant (i recomand mussels), small prices but also small servings.
Poor: fridge was broken in the room, they didnt fixed it - but that may be a comunication problem, bathroom is quite spartan.
