This hotel is located on the main plaza so it very convenient and the cost is quite reasonable. The room lay out was a bit strange and not much in the way of amenities, but that is understandable for the price. The real downside for us, however, was no internet coverage even though it was supposed to be available. The staff was nice.

Good location but . . .

Good room with air con, helpful staff, but very basic breakfast. Excellent location with many small restaurants nearby. Easy walk to centre of town. Small car park. Interesting lift that stops between floors. Good view from the roof.

Good basic accommodation at reasonable cost

The hotel has a pefect location downtown. You can park and walk anywhere in the city center. The personnel is great and very helpful. Security is outstanding. The parking is somewhat improvised but it's free. Otherwise it's hard to find a parking spot downtown. The wifi is spotty and can use some improvement. I didn't buy the breakfast option so I can't comment on that. Would stay again.

Terrible from all points of view except maybe location.  Staff looks like low level ex KGB clerks, rooms are spooky and badly lit, and it feels like you are in a cheap brothel.  Nobody has absolutely any sense or understanding of providing services.  And the best of all: DO NOT EVEN THINK OF TRYING THE BREAKFAST.  There are a number of other hotels in the city.  You are much better off with any of them and they do not cost more.

National Disaster

My wife and I chose this hotel to hold our wedding at in June 2012, and I am so so happy we did. Located in my wife's hometown of Pazardzhik (also spelled Pazardjik), it was very convenient as it's located RIGHT in the city center along the many bustling pedestrian zones. Inside the hotel is a wedding planner's office where Ioanna, the wedding planner, works and organizes everything. It is very clean and very expertly decorated; the floor and stairs around the lobby area and stairwells are polished stone, while the hallways are decorated with pictures of vintage cars and neon lighting, almost giving it a Vegas feel. My family stayed here during their visit for the wedding, and they were given an apartment; living room, two bedrooms, bathroom, and hallway. And this is not expensive at all. As I said, we chose this place for their wedding services, and, let me tell you, they are the bomb. DJ, hairstylists, catering, it was perfect. We got married on their rooftop garden, which is fully accessible at any time, and held the reception in the restaurant located on the top floor. On the roof is the garden, obviously, and a fountain. The food was AMAZING, and the service was impeccable, with a full service bar (I think we got my Dad addicted to rakia, a traditional Balkan alcohol, because of that haha). My new wife and I stayed in the honeymoon suite which, while not as large as, say, the apartment, was very very well done. All the furniture save for the bed was leather upholstered; there was a full couch and two big chairs. The bed was big and really comfortable, and the bathroom was spectacular; it had a full jacuzzi/shower combo tub that, once we figured out how it worked, was very relaxing. The hotel is air conditioned, of course, but not in the traditional sense; they have individual remote-control air conditioners in each room, so you can control each room's climate as you wish, which I thought was really neat. They also provide a full laundry service (the most expensive item to clean only costs around 4 BGN, which is like $1-$2).

Okay, for you travelers from many other parts of the world, listen up; the rooms are still wired to 220V. We found this out the hard way when I tried to plug in my Mom's hair dryer and the plug quite literally exploded in my hand. So make sure your device is either wired for 220V or has an adapter, because we managed to put an entire apartment out of commission for a few hours thanks to that blunder.

It's family friendly, it's located in the perfect area (surrounded by restaurants and shops and museums, etc.), and the people are so friendly (where else can the wedding planner's Mom be the one officiating your wedding?). If you're in Pazardzhik, I highly recommend this place. If not, oh well; there's no shortage of good hotels in Pazardzhik. :)
