Hotel Elite 

The staff at this Hotel are very friendly and helpful. Apart from 1 out of the 4 I met who could/would not speak a word of English and spent all night on her phone. Another spoke "small" English, but was very helpful. The other 2 were perfect in every way. My first room was not up to standard and they were happy to make a change. My second room was much better, with air con working perfectly well. The shower room was a bit dirty, but the shower worked perfectly with plenty of hot water. The "cable" tv had no English speaking news channels, as other hotels in Plovdiv do and only 2 English speaking drama channels.But hey, your not there to watch tv. The only downside to my rooms were the little beasties that bit me to hell. I bought some repellent from the local store and that helped. Please note: there were no mini bars in the rooms and there is NO bar, as advertised. However, the friendly staff allowed me to buy beer from a local off licence and store it in the reception fridge. That suited me. I often stayed drinking late, in or outside the reception area and saw nothing of some reviews concerning "other activities" in this Hotel. Just remember, this Hotel is in the heart of the City at a budget price, so do not expect 5 stars. (apart from the staff). Oh, and the Wifi was very good, inside and out.
