Beautiful place,great location.There’s so much to do especially if you like hiking,horse riding and dip in the river.The hotel provides breakfast and there is a wonderful restaurant on the side of the car park.It feels like you’ve got everything you need on site.There is a swimming pool as well.The hosts and stuff were very kind and helpful .We enjoyed visiting this place so much that we’re coming back next year.Definitely recommending this hotel.

Great location in the middle of the Balkan mountain. Fantastic hospitality and services. Well maintained and supported. Tasty typical Bulgarian cuisine. We sincerely recommend this hotel for all kinds of trips - families, couples, friends etc. 
 

Excellent place to relax

The rooms are clean and big enough. Nice balconies (though for some rooms there is just a very low partition between balconies) with furniture. Nice pool and restaurant. Decent breakfast buffet. 
The restaurant was very busy (with kids playing, a dj playing folk music and people dancing)  on friday and saturday night. The other nights we were there (thursday and sunday) it was not that busy in the restaurant and there was no dj. Might have been a one-time event, but the difference was remarkable. Even on the busy nights service was still good though.

Big room, nice bathroom.

Stayed there for 3 nights. Overall the hotel is nice, with spacious and almost clean rooms. Unfortunately most of its facilities did not work during our stay. Note that the swimming pool has a reported 26 degrees temperature which combined with a colder weather is rather uncomfortable.
The hotel manager was awesome - very helpful and friendly, made every possible effort to make our stay better. However the staff seems to be very inadequate and the whole experience suffers from this.
The "restaurant" is in a separate building just outside the hotel main entrance. DO NOT GO THERE!!! EVER!!! 
I cannot find words to express my dissatisfaction with this place - extremely slow and incapable service, low quality food and prices suitable for a five star restaurant!!! 
Just to give an idea how bad it is - one evening we had to wait 2.5 hours for a couple of grilled sausages which should have taken no more than 30 minutes. The result was still edible though already cold. The price however was as if I had ordered fillet mignon... The next evening we waited 25 minutes and not even one of the 5 or 6 waiters cared to bring a menu or at least an ash tray even after we called them couple of times... Needless to say we moved to the only other restaurant in this part of the village where we got proper service and quite nice cuisine. 

Bottom line - if for some weird reason you end up in the center of Apriltsi village make sure you have food and be prepared to face the reality.

Not so bad but don't expect too much

The hotel is not bad if you do not expect much. The restaurant is across the street and you better keep your jacket on during supper.Heating in the rooms is turned off when people are gone, as I was informed in New Years Eve. It was turned on after people return to their rooms. It was also turned off on shedule around noon on the next day.  If you want to stay in warm and cosy you should think again before booking here.
