Not too big hotel, partly hotel guests, partly owner of the rooms / holiday apartments.
We had a family apartment, everything was ok. Wifi was broken but fixed immediately. Helpful staff in the hotel.
Adjacent restaurant with good choice and quality. Here also perfect staff.
Location by the lake is nice, surrounding (Tryavna, mountains etc.) worth visiting.

Perfect stay in a nice environment

The apartment I was staying in was great. Very suitable for a family with children. Comfortable beds. The fridge is large. Very clean room. The beautiful view (I had the room overlooking the lake and the forest). Good food at the restaurant. Staff very friendly. 
It does not have a lift and we had the room on the 3rd floor. It has no parking (we parked on the street, in front of the hotel).

This is a large hotel with apartments but reatins the feel of a small and cozy place. Our room was clean and spacious with a balcony overlooking the mountains. There is a restaurant in the hotel and it offers traditional Bulgarian food and drinks as well as imported top shelf liquour. Downtown Tryavna is only 1-2 kilometers away and there're plenty of good restaurants there as well. We really liked the hotel outdoor pool, which is long enough for laps and also has a kidie pool attached to it for small kids. If you like fishing, the lake accross from the hotel has a variety of fish. Nearby are the cities of Gabrovo and Veliko Tarnovo which could be visited for day trips and have some of the best tourist attactions in Bulgaria. However, if you decide to stay just in Tryavna you won't regret it.
Overall, this is a great place. We didn't want to leave after spending a week there and hope to visit it again soon. Highly recommend it.
