Very inexpensive for what you get by way of decor amenities, view, wooden furniture, reception area etc. Clean.  Quiet. Nice restaurant. Reasonable WIFI. View across a lake. Good service. One floor modern fit out another more authentic in fit-out. 

It’s about a kilometre walk to centre of town and market but we were ok with that. 

Big tick from us - we stayed a week!

Nothing to say again. Service is perfect, room are very comfortable, optimum clean and feel very safe coupled with a very nice view on the main lake of Banlung city. The swimming pool and the restaurant are well thought-of in order to enjoy the view too. Restaurant menu is impressive and definitely worth it !
THE place to recommend

Best place to stay in banlung 

We stayed here as part of a group. The staff was charming and helpful and the rooms large with balconies overlooking the lake. The second night we were moved to a suite which had a hairdryer which a  standard  room does not. The beds were very hard! And the bathrooms a bit wonky but clean. We had two meals there and the  food is decidedly average although the ingredients are fresh. Our Khmer banquet on the second night was better than the a la carte but it takes ages to get a drink and breakfast on the first morning was chaos so much so that half didn’t arrive. The second breakfast was a buffet - better for a large group - but everything apart from the baguettes was cold! Still there’s not much choice in Banlung and it’s very good value for money! And there’s a pool. 

Nice views but hard beds

I and my family is really enjoy with our trip to north east of combodia even though just short times with this hotel for experience, Ratanakiri is good place for argricalture, fresh fruits and fresh air, Beoung Kan seng, surrounded by hotels guesthouse and place to eat, we can do exercise in early morning or evening.

Great stayed and feel relaxing

The wooden staircase in the lobby took our breath away. And the wooden beams, bannisters etc throughout the hotel. (Sorry - no pics taken). Would be a beautiful setting for a wedding. 
Staff were friendly and helpful, and able to interact in English. :-)


Amazing woodwork. Friendly staff

I stayed in this hotel for one night on 21st April , 2019.
The hotel is located in a quite and nice place. There is a lake in front of the hotel.
Rooms are big and you can find all types of rooms.
The price is reasonable. Staff are friendly and polite. Breakfast is satisfactory.

Reasonable price , calm and peaceful location in front of Lake

We stayed at Ratanakiri Boutique Hotel for a few nights before crossing the border to Vietnam and it was one of the cleanest and most pleasant places we’ve stayed in about 3 months of continuous travel. The pool is clean, new, and a great place to relax.

We met the general manager, Ly, and talked a bit before leaving. He clearly has a lot of pride in the hotel and does everything he can to make his guests feel comfortable and happy, it shows and it’s definitely appreciated. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful too.

I’d recommend this place to anyone. We have been on a bit of a tight budget throughout our trip and this has been one of our best value stays by far, thank you for making us feel at home.

Exceptional value, a very nice hotel

We stayed at this beautiful little hotel for 3 nights our room looked over the lake was very relaxing to wake up to of a morning .The rooms are very clean and well maintained.We had dinner in the restaurant every night there is a good selection on the menu .Special note goes to the young people working in the restaurant to whom the hotel owner and his wife are training .They were always pleasant and attentive.It is good to see an establishment training under privileged youth in it community to try to give them a brighter future .

Amazing oasis

Great breakfast French crepes, baguettes, juice for light breakfast. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Family suite had three large beds, air conditioned, two bathrooms and serviced each day. A wide choice for dinner. The only down side for the king size bed was it was as hard as wood. I like just a little more give in the mattress.
