Best kept secret in Kep This amazing lady has a very clean small guesthouse with adjoining restaurant which is clean as a whistle and the food is just divine The freshest orange juice around , beautiful farm fresh eggs and amazing rice dishes just heaven Loved going to sit with her and watch her cook delightful meals Guesthouse is just enough and very clean with spacious inexpensive rooms ,suit backpackers because of location ,which is gorgeous as on edge of national park and close to Crab Market Lovely competent Khmer massages This place is excellent Half the price of most places around 

Unbeatable service and beautiful food 

We were in KEP for 4 days and had 2 massages here. The $8 Khmer massage for an hour is good value. The ladies here are friendly, the location is easy to find and the room is new and set up perfectly. We also had a $25 massage elsewhere that was only 1/2 as good as Art Guesthouse's massage.

Great Massage in KEP

Popped in for a $6 Khmer massage, which is the cheapest I've paid. Good massage, by a masseause who was obviously trained and experienced. Khmer massages are really different to traditional oil massages- they are not relaxing, but do feel like they're really good for your body/muscles. (Oil massages also offered). I might have thought it was a little weird if I hadn't had one elsewhere, but the standard of the massage was pretty good, and followed exactly the same method of others I've had. This one was particularly good for my super-tight calf muscles, which I suspect she identified and worked on further.
For $6, it's a no-frills Cambodian experience. A mattress on the floor, with a slightly stale smelling pillow, and the masseuse didn't speak any English at all (her helpful son does, to get things started). But, for $6, I'm happy with that. Veranda Resort further up the road probably have a great proper spa, but you'll pay through the nose for it. 
Anything more complicated than lighter/stronger might be worth communicating beforehand with her son. There's none of that laborious 'washing feet in a tub of water' beforehand, so either go in with fairly clean feet, or use the shower in the adjoining room before things start.
