I wouldn’t stay here again. Save your money and stay somewhere else. Rooms were unclean, hot, stuffy and the attitude of the owner wasn’t great when we bought up these issues. He was a friendly guy but just didn’t get a good feel when we had an issue. Don’t stay here, save your money.

Hostel is very nice, there is good wifi and the hosts are very nice. They know a lot about the island and can help you happily. 
It's close to shops and restaurants anything you need.
Very nice specially for younger people.

Room1 9days

Owners were very nice the skinny owner is little bit shy but from 8.00-16.00 is the best time for any questions or any needs in dragon den at that time there is the other owner who is there and allways happy to help.
 The rooms:  
1. Are made from stone so just remember to lock your window so the mosquitos can't get in.
2. There is Sand everywhere in the island so just get used to it it will ne everywhere.
3. We were there sadly only 4 days so we recommend to staying there.
4. And last but not least in our visit there there came 2 persons who work on the other side of the island came for Wi-fi so if you need even little bit of internet on the island theres no other place for deasent Wi-fi.

Dragon den and the travellers hostels

We stay only 2 days but if it was not because of our short time left we will stay longer. The owner was lovely , nice canadian and helpful! They organise for us a boattrip for 10$ and it was worth it. The room was quiet and confortable , the wifi was prettt good for the island . 24hour electricity also , not alot of people know than today the island  have 24hour power. Closed to restaurant and the beach , from the last floor we can enjoy the sunrise . We like also the fact than we can exchange some book for free .

Lovely owner

We was supposed to stay 2 night and we stay 3 more days. The room was clean , comfy and the wifi was stable. The owner was realy friendly and helpful about the island , we cannot also not talking about their craft beer wich is fresh , amazing and on the top of it is organic !!!!! This place was nice to stay , we will come back for sure !

* new room bed and freshly renovated  best place out of five we saw and the only affordable concrete business on the main strip here in koh rong

Really cool place

Almost in front of the speed ferry  piers this accomodation offers concret rooms  all the building resently had a makeover also to keep in mind 95%of island is in wood building being in concret these rooms stay cooler until afternoon so perfect for late mornings this place also have a micro brew called five men all of them were amazing and low priced for this quality ive been in thailand and vietnam micro brewery  and this is by far the best ive tasted 1$ wheat beer 1.50$ blonde ale and stout also amber ale (ipa) at 2$ just amazing

Great spot

We slept on the beach because we noticed many bedbugs in our room. They were everywhere. Our neighbors had the same problem and also ended up on the beach. We didn't get our money back. Most terrible place we have ever been.

The owner is called Jonathan. Positive reviews about Jay, Eva & Max are about a different place: Dragon Den Inn, which is different from Dragon Den (with the bedbugs).

Everywhere bedbugs in the rooms

We booked one night, but ended up leaving in the middle of the night. We noticed a lot (!) of bedbugs in our room. We had to throw away several things as they were already crawling in our stuff. We met the people from the room next to us in the middle of the night, as they also left their room because of bedbugs.

The owner was not reachable and when we reached him a day later he was not willing to give us our money back. He also denies them being there for a long time already (according to the reviews they are). 

When we met him before this happened he seemed kind, but apparently when you have a problem he's unable to take his responsibility as an owner. He even let us go to a certain place to get our money for nothing. He did not stay there neither left the money for us at a desk as he said he would do.

He said to us he closed the place down for a few days, but since we're still able to book a night at booking.com (and other websites) that's defenitely not the case.

There are some positive reviews at TripAdvisor that seem to be for Dragon Den Inn, which is a different place than Dragon Den.
