Very quiet place, very helpfully and very friendly owners, felt like at home.

We had a wonderful stay at Independence Villa. The owner couple was so helpful and friendly, they made everything possible. Thank's again for this perfect time!

Nice and small hotel with family atmosphere 

I visited Sihanoukville with my family recently and we loved our stay at Independence. The owner was very friendly and gave us a tour of the town and helped us find a boat ride to a nearby island. The rooms were very nice, with showers that have actual water pressure (unlike elsewhere in the area!), wifi, mini fridge (stocked!) and TV...

Breakfast out on the patio was delicious with fresh squeezed juices, coffee and omelettes. Overall we felt like we were in a safer part of the town and felt like we got there at a great time - they recently renovated  and refurbished the place.

Beautiful villa in a fun coastal town

ok, there is no pool, but who needs a pool if there's an awesome beach just a 3min ride away? and of course you'll find cheaper places to stay but this is something special because of owners warm and welcoming attitude. they picked me up from the bus stop and took me to the vietnamese consulate where i applied for a visa. they also arranged a motorbike for just 5$. the food was very delicious and the best i've eaten in cambodia. the hotel just opened and everything is new and very clean. the bed was very cosy. i liked the fact that this place is not located in the hot spot. they cared a lot. i recieved a herbal treatment against my cold. just because i looked terrible. i had a very good time and would come back next time. 

something special, best hotel and food in cambodia

I must start by saying how nice and accommodating the owner of the property was to us. He was very friendly, gave us a tour around the town when we got there, and was always available to help.
The rooms themselves were very basic, but nice enough.
The problem was the hotel did not seem finished. There was no proper furniture on either of the balconies, no menu, just really no place to hang out and relax.
The property itself was quite far away from any of the attractions, which added on both time as the hotel would have to call transportation, and money.
It was the most expensive place I stayed on my Cambodia trip. All others for much less offered pools and a restaurant. 
At that price, I would expect much more. A decent place to stay, but not at that price.
