The bungalow is simple (common shower and toilet) but clean. A warm and personal home very pleasant. The restaurant service is good and we eat very well. As ugly and charming as the city is, so very pleasant it is to stay at Mangroves & More!

Accepting and Resting

Perfect, I'd put five stars on it if the bathroom was good but it's not like the shower, otherwise the bungalow is great and you can book tickets to the islands straight to the bar.

Very comfortable bungalow

The bungalows have a nice view, the bed and the atmososphere are wonderful... but... 1) Our bed linen was filled with candy papers when we arrived - bed linen was obviously not changed before a new client. 2) We couldn't lock the room because the system was broken.

Cool location and view, but unclean!!!

Sihanoukville has become a dump. Open docks everywhere, garbage everywhere, really bad. I had booked 2 nights, but when I realized the situation (as soon as I arrived) I said that the next day I'd rather leave, and that I would buy the boat ticket to Koh Salo Rongem through them. So I did, but when I paid first they wanted to charge me for 2 nights, then they insisted on charging me a $10 fine.

It's ridiculous.

Since the simple guesthouse is now part of the beautiful Sak Sabay Resort, you can enjoy the good restaurant with the stylish furniture, as well as the good internet and food. But the Mangrove has the advantage that it is located on the small river, most rooms have a view of the mangroves or a terrace by the river. The room in the 1st floor was large (2 double beds with good mosquito net), a terrace with river view - table and chair - and many storage areas. For 18 US but a shared shower and toilet on the ground floor. (Without booking I got 4 US days later a large room on the ground floor with terrace and my own shower/WC). I'll be back in this room in 10 days.

It's a simple guesthouse, but it's good.

First impression very nice, quiet in the mangrove.....but it stops there the bungalows with private bathroom are old. The bathroom is crado (being in nature is not an excuse not to clean), a very unpleasant smell of sewage, thankfully it is possible to sleep outside on the terrace because it is impossible to sleep inside. We were on the lower floor of the bungalow and the upper room was occupied, no isolation the parquet cracks every step and we enjoyed the pleasant conversation of the neighbors.

Disappointing quality ratio

The hotel was only a short walk from the beaches and I liked the chilled vibe. However the staff were not that friendly and didn’t feel that welcome there. 
Only stayed here for one night so might have left better if I’d stayed longer but there isn’t much else to in Sihanoukville, most people go to the islands nearby instead.

awfull ,internet is crap... bungalows are small & dirty , the dump truck do not go there so they are burning garbage , so do the neibours , be prepare to breathe a lot of toxic fumes , the staff is arrogant , the shared toilet are often a mess & had to clean em before used , lots of mosquitos...  in rain season the road to get there is a muddy "motocross track" 
 had to ask 3 time to change bed sheet after 2 weeks  staying there.

Sok sabay and Mangroves & more are both run by the same people

We stayed here because the reviews were pretty good but were really disappointed by the standard of facilities and service. The rooms aren’t very clean, food overpriced, the staff not very friendly, some clothes went missing when we used the laundry service and the staff didn’t make much effort to find them. We booked a ticket through them to go to Siem Reap - when we reached Phnom Penh there was no bus to take us the rest of the way. Do not recommend! 

Disappointing 

Hard to find, as apparantly sok sabay and mangroves & more are both run through the same people and the same reception which is ij the restaurant. Bungalow was nice, but lots of mosquitos and a faulty mosquito net... Toilet area is outside the room, but it's clean
