Great place , thoughtful people here, , owner really wants to bring eco friendly tourism community wide  , they are a seeds of hope for Cambodias environment . I was stoked to run into these folks ! Yoga class(overlooking the mangroves)was awesome, and vegan dishes where awesome. Keep doing what your doing guys.

Wish I'd found them sooner

I had an absolutely amazing stay with the wonderful family (staff) at Pachamama Bungalows. The bungalow was clean, comfortable and well priced. The beautiful jungle shower was one of my highlights! Warm sunshine and clean cold water is so refreshing. I can't say enough about how delicious the Vegan/Vegetarian food is!!! During one of my days I got very ill from eating at another place and the really looked after me, giving me fennel tea, coconut water and porridge. When you are so far from home it is nice when others look after you. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to all of my friends. Special thanks to Sylvia, Stephanie, Leah and Summer.

Otres River Village Oasis

This place offers amazing food, I tried the lasagna, the wrap and the salad and all was delicious. Nice place to enjoy the view of the river, good service (it gets a bit busy so need a bit of patience) but the wait is completely worth it.

Amazing food 

Pachamama is the nicest of any guesthouse or hotel that I can remember staying in during the last 40 years of travelling! The pure vegan meals (8am – 6pm; Saturday closed [but available at the Pachamama stall during the Otres Village Saturday Market from 4pm until late]) are absolutely scrumptious (Pssst!: the warm banana cake with ice cream, and the "White Smoothie" are to die for!). The sitting-deck of the restaurant and the open upstairs yoga studio overlook a secluded 50 meter-wide river, across to a beautiful mangrove forest on the other side. The guesthouse plays great world music, reggae, ambient, and folk. The two Brit owners, Sylvia, and her daughter, Steph, are the most easy-going, caring, bright, charismatic, down-to-earth, funny, dedicated, and active pair of women you will meet anywhere. I was made to feel like part of the family, and I am sure their wonderfully attentive cooking, serving, and freelance yoga staff, together with the young women and men volunteers who daily trickle through to help with the guesthouse's plastic recycle and educational projects are inspired to feel such a bond of affection with them even more strongly. Pachamama is a shady, charmingly landscaped guesthouse that has been decorated in a hippy-rustic style with some signboards and artworks painted and collected by Steph. It is the sort of place where you imagine all of the principles of feng shui and vastu shastra must surely be in unanamous alignment!; there is a positive energy in the atmosphere, it is peaceful, and it is comfortable. You feel like hanging out here and reading a book or talking with friends. To compliment it all, Sylvia also conducts Reiki sessions herself. It is so refreshing to come to a guesthouse that seems to serve some higher purpose other than just the almighty dollar. All other guesthouse owners throughout the world take careful note: This is how a guesthouse ought to be run. Pachamama is especially recommended for vegetarians/vegans, people with a spiritual or counter-cultural interest, or those just wanting somewhere to chill. I had initially booked for three nights. I ended up staying two weeks.

Just Perfect!

The rooms were not cottages, they were wood framed grass huts. Not clean, the mirror was covered in grime, there were cobwebs and ants. Sacks of rubbish between huts, generally untidy. Smell from the compost bins. Shared toilet which was not a compost toilet but a bucket. Nowhere to hang clothes/towel when having a shower. No bin in the room. Worse value for money in 33 years of backpacking/travelling. $22 for small hut with no wifi, noisy fan. That was the cheaper hut. Iv'e had a room with ac, fridge, swimming pool and attached bathroom with hot shower, closer to the beach for the same price in the same area. Perhaps they charge a lot more when you book with booking.com. I paid in advance for three days without seeing the hut first, I was kicking myself for that mistake. It was not possible to get a good nights sleep with their barking dogs and a rooster from 4am. No fault of this establishment but there is a construction site next door which is loud from 7am. The restaurant was in a nice spot next to the river and the vegan food was very good, though pricey. I wonder is it because this place is run by English that it is so expensive? I personally prefer local run places. 
So, if a good nights sleep or a lie-in and value for money are not your thing, stay here. I am sorry to give this negative review, but I wanted to be honest. I'm not sure how previous reviewers said this was value for money, and it states as such on their own website. If it was half the price then maybe.
