Me and 3 of my friends stayed in this hostel and I can honestly say after 3 months travelling it is hand on heart one of the best I’ve stayed in. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and the dorms are spotlessly clean and cleaned everyday with chemicals. The food is unbelievable and there is even gym equipment for guests to use what more do you want for less than $10 a night. Yes there is building work along the road but that’s out of the hostels control and it didn’t affect our stay one bit. 

Travellers heaven 

Stayed next door and came here for breakfast every day. On Sunday they offer a Sunday roast, we ordered this not expecting great things, it was excellent, the gravy was delicious, they didn’t have Yorkshire puds but gave us a round of drinks instead. The staff are lovely especially Erica who we met in the evening as we normally ate here in the morning, Erica was lovely and nothing was too much trouble for her, a definite asset to them. Would recommend a visit here. Well done BOHO x

Lovely food and staff

Stayed here for 3 nights. Met the owner the first night as I checked in, which is amazing to see in Cambodia. Joe was the shining star of Boho. There were plenty of lovely ladies too...if only I didn't have a face like a bucket full of smashed crabs they'd talk to me.
11/10 would get rejected again

If only

We had dinner here and it was very good. The restaurant is very clean inside and on warmer days tables are available for outside dining.  The chicken fajitas were very good, when they arrived at the table the presentation was very nice and they were very hot in the cast iron pan.  Husband had the Mole Poblano and he enjoyed his meal. Portion size was very good, I actually thought I would have taken leftover with me but I ended up eating it all there. Prices for dinner are reasonable, and no complaints with the service.

Great meal for dinner

Two of my friends and I stayed here for one night just before travelling onto Siem Reap after the Cambodian islands. The dorm room was spotless, however there is no electricity in the day in the dorms but there is in the main area beside the pool. The wifi within the hostel is pretty good, the food is average and the staff were ok, they helped us book taxis to the airport but apart from that there’s not much else you can do as outside the hostel is a mess, standard for Sihanoukville though. I would recommend this place if your just passing through.

Pleasant Stay

Boho was lovely!
It had so many seating areas, to lounge by the pool, in the shade, or tables and chairs to sit and work. They have a big projector screen and have outdoor cinema some nights, where everyone gets snuggled down on cushions or loungers around the pool to watch the film.
The food was slightly more expensive than in the cafes and bars nearby, but it was really nice and the portion sizes were good. Probably the nicest food we ate in Otres.
The staff were all really helpful and friendly. Nothing was ever too much hassle. The overall feeling of the place and everyone there was so friendly, laid back and relaxed.
Wifi was good, the pool was really nice and clean and I even found a few little weights and yoga mats so I was able to do a little exercise circuit some mornings with another guest.
At some point every day the electric cuts out but the generator gets things going again so all good.
During our stay the water was off for a few hours most days too, which was difficult as the area is very dusty, but it's at no fault at all of the property and just something you have to deal with.
There is major development going on in Sihanoukville, which has sadly spread to Otres village now too. I was told all the construction is what is having a big impact on the water supply.
I was saddened to see the devastation in the name of development, everywhere in Sihanoukville, and how far it has spread. For this reason, I don't think I would choose to visit this area again, but if I did I would definitely stay at Boho!
The only reason I have given average for value is due to not being able to shower, but as I said that was no fault of the accommodation and will hopefully be sorted soon.
