My boyfriend and I stayed here in March 2014 for a few days while on a long holiday. The bungalows are basic but very clean and spacious with a warm shower and our one also had a bath, TV in the room but no coffee making facilities. The rooms were cleaned on request when you place a cleaning notice on the front of the door. I have nothing negative to say about the rooms, we were on a short holiday not travelling we only needed something clean and basic as we didn't spend that long in the room and it suited our needs perfectly. 

The owners of the Guesthouse were the real highlight, they were extremely helpful in anyway possible. They prepared a free breakfast for us one day, arranged Tuk Tuks for us and when we asked about the night bus to Siem Reap he said he would book it for us, but when he couldn't get through on the phone actually went to the office on our behalf to book it. The owners were very friendly and their English was very good but not fluent. They tend to lock the gates at night so if you come back late you end up waking them up to get into the complex. However, in our experience this is a normal thing in Cambodia. Cambodians tend to go to bed quite early as well so even though we were getting back between 10-12pm they would be fast asleep. 

The only downside to the Guesthouse was the location. the closest beach was Sokha, which is privately owned by Sokha Beach Resort you need to pay to use a sun lounger and it is beautiful but very quiet beach with food places 5 min walk away. It is walkable to Sokha Beach but it is a long long walk. You need to get Tuk Tuks or hire Motos to Otres or other beaches which in a Tuk Tuk was around $12-$15 dollars to get there and back. The owners have Motos you can rent from them and they will organise Tuk Tuks for you. We ended up going to Otres Beach most days and it did work out quite expensive especially when we then needed a further Tuk Tuk in the evening to Serendipity Beach for food. Again it is walkable but it is a very long walk. The Bungalows are at the end of a quiet road and it does get very dark at night but we had no concerns of safety, but you obviously need to be careful.

Excellent but far away from the Beach

This place may be a bit out of the way but it is made up for by the exceedingly hospitable staff! From the moment we walked through the gate we were greeted with a smile and from there on the staff did everything to accommodate us. From booking our bus tickets, to immediately patching bike tires so we could use them when I asked at no extra charge, to giving my girlfriend and I a ride on the scooter into town to get food (the guy didn't ask for any money but I tipped accordingly), it seemed as though we couldn't ask for enough! If you don't mind staying off the beach and are looking for great value, this is the place!!

Great hospitality and great place to stay near Vietnam consulate

There's not a lot to it. It's kind of far from beaches and other things to do, but it did have a bed and air conditioning and a front lobby (sort of). We stayed 1 night. That was enough. 

It takes about 10 minutes by tuk tuk to get to the beach.  Uhm, good luck. 

You can sleep here

I booked for two days but stayed only for one night. AC was not working properly they could not find the remote control for AC. Washbasin faucet was broken   I will not recommend this hotel for even budget travelers. 

Bad location dirty approach road

This hotel is situated in a very dirty and stinky road where the dirt and garbage is sorted out by poor people.  Along the road flows a stinky river full of dirt.  At night there were no lights along the road so we had to use a torch to find our way through the street full of mud.
This is certainly not a “Boutique” hotel!!!  We had booked this hotel for 3 nights, but upon arrival, we informed the staff that we should stay only one night!
The rooms are old and very basic.
There was no hot water in the bath tube.  When we took a shower, the water was running over the floor of the bathroom into the sleeping room. 
At breakfast, you have to pay for the second cup of coffee/tea.
This hotel is situated very far from the beach and restaurants. 
We should not recommend this hotel !!!!   There are plenty of hotels with better comfort for the same price.
