The best place to stay in Annapolis Royal. Rooms were immaculate and clean. Breakfast was delicious, we usually stay at Digby Pines but decided to give this place a try and will definitely be back. If you are on the fence about booking it, book it right away. One of my favourite places I have stayed at in Nova Scotia.

Excellent Service and Accommodation

This beautiful well appointed stately home was a perfect place to spend a few nights.   The room was very spacious and comfortable.  The breakfast was homemade, delicious and served with a smile.   We’ll done!

Beautiful, comfortable, delicious breakfast 

Attention to detail was superb in every respect from quality bedding, to comfort,  to decor. Lovely greeting upon arrival, both helpful and friendly. The setting for this period inn is perfect for a short walk into the lovely downtown or the exceptional public gardens across the street. Our breakfast choices the following morning were impressive: we enjoyed excellent coffee, home made banana bread, fresh berry smoothies, avacado toast topped with crisp bacon and scrambled eggs. It was a five star experience for us and we'll look forward to returning.

Can't Wait to Return for the Pampering

My wife and I have been to Nova Scotia previously to watch our son graduate from Dalhousi University.  This time we wanted to see more of the Province, so after a couple of days in Halifax, we spent a leisurely day traveling to Annapolis Royal.  It's on the Western side, so we booked the Queen Anne Inn for 3 days.  What a treat.  We were in Room 3 on the second floor and it was as shown in the pictures on their website.  Comfort wise, you couldn't ask for more.  Comfortable bed, big soft chairs to relax in, and a private bath with a shower.  Every morning Laszlo (one of the proprietors) served a wonderful breakfast.  No complaints from either of us.  Laszlo and his wife Kate made of stay there memorable and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, should we ever go back.  For us, a 5 star rating.

When you open the door and step into the Queen Anne it is like stepping back in time to a simpler more genteel era. The public rooms as well as our room are artfully decorated with beautiful period furniture, rugs and artwork that work together to create an aura of calm and well being. Modern amenities blend in discretely. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and accommodating to a dietary restriction. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if we return to the area, this will be our first choice for accommodations.

An oasis of calm beauty

This is a lovely Victorian Inn, just across from the Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens and a short walk to the quaint village. I had probably the smallest room in the Inn but it was so well appointed, so cozy and the bed was so comfortable that to my surprise I ended up having no quarrel with the size. 

The hosts were extremely accommodating, I had a couple of very minor issues which they resolved immediately, even though I assured them there was no rush.
  
The breakfast was outstanding, lots of fresh fruit, the most delicious scones, and crepes. And the grounds are also beautiful.  Wish we had more time, would have been enjoyable to sit and read in their backyard.

Would have welcomed the ability to make coffee or tea in the room or to have it available in  one of the common areas especially in the morning before breakfast is served. 

Would definitely recommend.  The Inn does live up to all of the positive reviews.

Beautiful Inn, Accommodating Hosts

Very pleasant place to stay. The breakfasts were of a very high standard , very tasty and well presented. The room we had was on the top floor which necessitates climbing lots of stairs so avoid these rooms if you have heavy suitcases or struggle climbing stairs. The room was very clean and spacious with a comfortable bed.
If I had to be negative it would be the lack of drink making facilities in the room. It was a good place to stay and the walk into Annapolis Royal was short and easy. Would definitely recommend it.

Road trip

Pleasant and friendly owners - Kate who received us upon check-in and Laszlo who  served us a very tasty, freshly-prepared breakfast of which choices were offered. Cranberry scones with strawberry jam and a delicious smoothie preceded the main breakfast selections. Very comfortable, clean room on the third floor. Good value for money.

A Lovely and  Charming Inn!

My husband & I just stayed at this beautiful & elegant Inn. Our room was so comfortable including our poster bed. Both days I enjoyed the jacuzzi bath. Everyone at the Inn was so friendly & welcoming. The location in Annapolis Royal was perfect for walking to the historic sites & restaurants. Including Fort Anne & Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens. The highlight of our visit though were the spectacularly delicious breakfasts that are included with your stay at the Inn! I highly recommend a visit....we will definitely be going back as soon as we can!

Absolutely wonderful Inn!

We stayed one night at this wonderful inn and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our stay! The property has been lovingly maintained and we enjoyed all of the old world charm and attention to detail! Our room (#4) was inviting and the oversized king bed was super comfortable! The gourmet breakfast was incredible, and a wonderful way to start our day! Hosts Laslo and Kate are friendly and their genuine care for their guests is evident throughout! Highly recommend and looking forward to a return trip!
