Fabulous B & B on the waterfront. We stayed in the Lighthouse room with amazing views across the water, watching the sunrise. Facilities were very good, with a good breakfast choice. Towels and bedding were of a high quality. Off road parking available. In a great location to explore the Cabot Trail. Opposite the Alexander Graham Bell museum. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous B & B on the waterfront.

This is a really sweet place on the water’s edge. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Room 1 upstairs had an ensuite ( small but perfectly fine) . Towels, sheets and bathroom accessories are high quality , and the bed very comfortable . I really liked the breakfast - fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice, eggs, bagels , cheese etc etc and good tea and coffee. 

There is a lovely sitting room and an outdoor setting . Highly recommend.

Lovely bnb in a gorgeous waterside setting

Wonderful guest house connected to the Telegraph House just up the street.  The room offered plenty of space.  The shower was great and the bed and pillows were quite comfortable.  There was a very nice walkout to a beach with assorted amenities we could have used were we staying longer. 
 Breakfast was on the first floor and there was a lot to choose from, all very tasty, served buffet style.  But the best treat was dinner the first night in the dining room in the Telegraph House.  A farm to table experience, it was one of the best meals we had over 2 weeks in Nova Scotia.  But be sure to make reservations in advance.  The service was also great (thanks, Jade!).  And the owner, Shawn, was great!  Lots of good tips, especially for more off-the common trail places, as we mapped our trip into Cape Bretton Highlands National Park.  The town is super cute with a great café (The High Wheeler) where we had lunch, breakfast, and bought some yummy fresh baked treats.  We look forward to returning to stay at the Dunlop house again.

Great stay in Baddeck.

We had two nights here as part of a fly drive tour of the Maritime Provinces.  This is a charming bed and breakfast on the Baddeck waterfront opposite the Alexander Graham Bell museum site.
It's a lovingly refurbished/updated property that's comfortable, welcoming and with character.  We stayed in the Lighthouse room.  Planty of space, comfortable bed, good toiletries and a nice, well presented modern bathroom. There was an unusual large sliding door (it reminded me of a barn door) available to separate the bedroom and bathroom if you wanted but after nearly 50 years of marriage we didn't bother!   
The decor is different, well done and fun.
But the views are absolutely gorgeous of the lake, and boats and lighthouse.  The weather was good when we were here so it was particularly nice.
The windows come with very efficient blinds so we didn't have the usual problem of curtains not meeting.  The whole room had a modern, airy and spacious feel.
There's a sitting room with views which we enjoyed after dinner.  And you can sit on the back porch or deck (as we did) and enjoy the views of the lake.
We chatted with a number of members of staff - several being related to the owners- who were a delight to engage with and made our stay memorable.
The wifi was good but there was no TV in our room: that was no problem for us and there is one available in the sitting room, but it might be a deal breaker for some.
Lovely continental breakfast in morning - plenty of choice and very tasty - and the chance to chat around a communal table with your fellow guests.

Beautiful views, lovely people, great stay.

Our room was very small but comfortable. The bathroom was minuscule. The fragrances were overpowering to one of the 10% of population who is fragrance sensitive. The breakfast was very good and the staff person at breakfast was wonderful.

Fragrance sensitive ? Stay away!

A most wonderful place. The rooms are comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated and the setting is exceptional. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful and rooms are supplied with everything you need. The view from the lounge room cannot be beaten as you look across the water to the lighthouse and everything in town is within easy reach. Breakfast was great. We wish we had stayed for a longer period.

Gem if a place in a great location.

An old heritage house converted into a quaint inn. Five suites.  Location, location, location! Right on the water. For those rainy days, loved that the huge TV in the common room had true HD service and also had access to Netflix etc. Sometimes needed, especially if a long stay (ours was 6 night).

Perfection!

We had just the one night to enjoy the lovely Lighthouse Room; spacious, very comfortable, beautifully decorated with a magnificent view of the lake and the namesake lighthouse. This restored family home has a nice intimate feel.  Quiet, great location near the Alexander Graham Bell museum. Generous continental breakfast with fresh fruit, baked goods, cereals etc. Charming lakeside seating area too.  A very popular locale and it was easy to see why.  Would recommend highly.

Beautiful room, beautiful view

We stayed just one night at the inn in the Lighthouse room which had a lovely view.  Enjoyed sitting outside and watching the boaters.  Room was very comfy as was the bed.  Had a great night's sleep.  A very nice continental breakfast, cereal, bagels, baked goods, fruit, yogurt, etc, very substantial.  Got some great suggestions from the owner before heading out on the Cabot Trail.  Lovely place to stay in Baddeck.  Thank you some much for your hospitality.

Great location, beautiful room

Very nice hotel. Location is a Paradise, on the Ocean front with small beach. Water was pleasant to swim. Marina with restaurants is adjacent property. Lighthouse view.Continental  Breakfast in. Excellent stay. Only 5 rooms is in the hotel.  Our Cabot Trail Motorcycle tour was a perfect with Dunlop Inn.
