We were there to ski at Le Masif and Mte St-Anne, and this accommodation was well worth the short drives (20min and 45min) to each ski hill. Beautiful 2 bedroom cabin was private and huge, big plus of a real wood fireplace and well stocked wood and full kitchen. Great place, good price and highly recommend.

My wife, our 8-year-old son and I stayed three nights in a cottage here in February 2017. It was perfect for us. On-site activities included ice skating, snowshoeing, and snow-tubing, which we really enjoyed (free for overnight guests). It's very close to the charming town of Baie-Saint-Paul, where all services were easily accessible (supermarket, restaurants, shops, etc). It's also 20 minutes from Le Massif, one of the best ski areas in northeast North America. We loved our cozy cottage (actually a log cabin), which was very quiet and deep in the snowy woods. It had a comfortable kitchen and living area, two bedrooms, a nice bathroom, cable TV and very good wifi. It also had a wood stove, which was great for winter evenings. My only complaint... there weren't enough blankets on the beds. The electric heat was plentiful, but in the winter it's nice to have a warm bed instead of having to crank up the heat. We supplemented with a wool blanket that we had in the car, and doubled up with the extra bed's blanket. We also ended up buying a scrubber sponge and paper towels, as none were provided. Otherwise it was great, and they gave us fresh bath towels each day. We would certainly go back.

A great winter stay at Le Genevrier

The website is very misleading and wasn't at all what we expected and it is overpriced for what you get. The facilities were not clean and overall the grounds were not maintained. The atmosphere is strange and we felt out of place. Overall we wouldn't recommend as a camp ground when in the Baie St Paul region.

Strange and over-priced

We rented accomodations for the week of spring break, we were a total of 15 people, so in all we rented 3 cottages, 1 log cabin and 2 cottages, first with the good stuff, the cottages are very clean and the firewood is free, we are 15 minutes from downtown Baie St-Paul and Le Massif ski hills.  The cottages are in the wooded area so they provide a warm feeling of calm and beauty. There’s a large snow slide which was fun, not to big, good enough for younger kids, ours did enjoy it. Now the not so good, UNDER EQUIPPED, be warned, although they provide a kitchen and that one expects that we can cook, they are so poorly equipped that they should warn potential renters to bring the bare necessity ok kitchen equipment, they have NO knives, aside from 4 steak knives and forks, No bowls, forget the salad or mixing bowls, NO whip, NO cheese shredder, NO measuring tools, nothing that one normally uses daily if your gonna prepare breakfast lunch or dinner.  It was extremely frustrating and disappointing. There is better accommodation in the area for the same price. There use to be snow shoe trails and cross country skiing trails behind the cottages, not anymore... There was nothing organized at the lodge for spring break, the manager/owner are there to collect, not to provide a fun week for the guests. Oh and did I mention the price!  In closing, surf the internet, there’s better and cheaper in this area for family fun.

Nice but over-priced and under equipped

We paid $44 to camp at this large, noisy and crowded campground.  And then they have the nerve to charge $1 for a 5 minute shower.  There isn't any kind of view or nearby attractions so it is unclear why this place is so popular.
