3 families travelling with 2 teens spent an amazing week at Tina's.  This is such a great location with all the best amenities -- kayaks, hammock, swimming, hottub and more.  The house is comfortable and roomy, we had such an amazing time.

3 family vacation in paradise

My wife and I stayed at Laughing Waters for two nights in mid-August.  Your host Tina is a very warm and generous person.  Meeting her is like greeting a friend you never knew you had.  She will go out of her way to make sure you enjoy the stay at her beautiful home and property.  The house is modern, large, clean, and comfortable.  Tina has thought of every amenity, including cozy robes.  You feel like you are staying with a thoughtful friend.  There are lots of places both inside and outside the house to sit back, have a drink, or eat something, and enjoy the view.  The large new dock has plenty of room to pull up a Muskoka chair, go swimming in the deep clear lake, or simply absorb northern Ontario.  There are kayaks for your use, and it's a fun afternoon or morning to explore the islands and bays. Tina has spent a lot of time creating her gardens. At every turn there are groups of beautiful flowers and greenery.  Sit for a moment and you will probably see hummingbirds, chipmunks, butterflies, and other creatures.   If you're fortunate enough to have breakfast during your stay, it is truly restaurant quality.  Heaps of bacon, sausage, eggs, or, French toast smothered in craft maple syrup, all with plenty of good coffee.  It's a great start to your day.
 

For anyone visiting Northern Ontario I totally recommend you stay at Laughing Waters.

Wonderful visit in every way

We come back every year and can't get enough of Laughing Waters.  From fabulous breakfasts, to quiet shady lunches watching the porcupines climb trees and the hummingbirds in the garden to making the most of swimming and kayaking down by the dock.  Tina makes us feel welcome and thinks of everything we might need to make our  stay as comfortable as possible.  Thank you for another wonderful week Tina!!

A hidden gem on the North Shore of Lake Huron

We had an amazing stay at Laughing Waters this summer (a bit late with the review - but we're already booking for next year!).  Tina is the ultimate host who thought of everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable and relaxed.  From the fire pits to the hammocks to the kayaks and hot tub, there was so much to just chill out with or to go out exploring.  And the dock is incredible.  I could sit there for hours, day or night.  Thank you for another fabulous holiday Tina!

Another fabulous summer holiday at Laughing Waters!

We had an incredible stay at laughing waters. It is a beautiful place on the lake and very close to the highway. Great breakfast and comfy beds! Recommend 100% to anyone in the area! We enjoyed the hot tub, fishing, kayaking, and delicious homemade breakfasts each morning! Tina is an amazing host and we had a blast at her place. Her place will help you relax and feel at home! The best place to stay along 17! 

Our family was stuck when the highway closed down in front of us with a traffic emergency...But our dismay turned to delight as we discovered Laughing Waters and a host who went out of her way to prepare meals and a delightful, restful night for our family of 8. Swimming, boating, eating, talking, resting...all receive our highest recommendation!

Incredible God-send of a Visit

I was travelling from New Brunswick to Alberta, and was looking for a B&B off the highway, on the water and away from the extra guest noise that is typical of hotels. The moment I met Tina and saw the location, I felt like I was in heaven! She was so welcoming and warm and friendly - the perfect host. The time spent on the water, which is just below the house where 2 docks plus kayaks and all the gear are stored, was so rejuvenating that I asked if I could stay another night. Tina and I quickly became friends and the 2 night stay at Laughing Waters was the remedy I needed to face the next few days travelling to Alberta. And Tina, her heart, her hospitality and her cooking were remedy for my spirit and my soul. Love her!!
