excellent, friendly, very clean, ... the perfect place to relax, the beach is right there, a lovely place for hiking. Would love to go again

Environment is beautiful  and perfect   for a vaction or work on zoom. Would highly recommend to spend time there

This is one of the best lodges I have ever stayed in. It maintains the rustic appeal of log cabin while also having modern appliances and renovated kitchens and bathrooms. The fireplace is great to use on cool evenings and the scenery outside is exquisite. The staff was friendly and courteous. I highly recommend staying here.

A Blue River Oasis

We absolutely love Mike Wiegele for Heli-Skiing. Amazing guides who put safety first. Wiegele has over 1 million acres of fresh powder in the Monashees and Cariboos. They treat you like royalty. The food is amazing and the cottages clean and comfy. I really equate it to the poshness of Deer Valley. Plus the skiing is excellent!

Wiegele is the Deer Valley of Heli-Skiing

Wow what an amazing place, great authentic log cabin accommodation, that was comfortable, clean and had everything you could ever want or need. Loved this place only regret is we didn't have more time to explore the area more.

Authentic Log cabin

This place was incredible. It had absolutely everything you would need and some! A mud room, sauna, washing machine and dryer, fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, fireplace and wood. Beautiful setting around lake, wild berries to pick....just stunning! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Wow! So beautiful.

We stayed here for one night in early August and was impressed with the log cabin architecture with soft beds and clean rooms. There was probably half a dozen cabins rack containing five bedrooms.

The buildings are constructed from logs and set on a peaceful lake. Each cabin contained a fully equipped kitchen / lounge / fireplace with two bedrooms downstairs and three bedrooms up stairs. Each bedroom had its own shower and bath and could be locked for privacy.

This resort is built for winter skiers who seek powder snow for skiing and are transferred to the top of the mountains by helicopter. Think big bucks ($180,000) for the top ski package.

Set on a lovely parcel of land with a few short walking trails around the lake. Peaceful and tranquil. A great place to stay.

Fantastic and authentic.

Loved this place, out in the middle of nowhere it seems. Great accommodation of rooms based around an open plan lounge, kitchen & dining. Came complete with a log burning fire...yes we lit it. Sat around the table & in the lounge just relaxing, chatting. There is a laundry & a sauna which we did not use due to time. Beautiful lakeside setting with mosquitoes++++++ & we were warned to be mindful of being in bear territory.
The breakfast the next day was the best on tour, super friendly staff in an awesome dining room. Loved this stop.

Travel Marvel Group

Stayed at this accommodation when driving from Jasper to Whistler, hence this was a nice place to break up the long drive.
Cabin was very c9sy and very well appointed.
Breakfast was extensive and nice.
Could, however have more wash rooms as in our group it took ages to all use them.

Great accommodation.

We enjoyed the quiet, peaceful location, but not the lack of place or food to eat, so be prepared for that.  Rooms  clean,  bed super comfy, starting to look a little tired, but generally all good,  staff hardly saw anyone.  Trains thro the night, but no bears. . 

Beautiful place to stay

1 night stop we would have we loved 5 what beautiful comfortable, spacious accommodation in log cabins with private an suite. The whole complex was delightful and we would have liked longer to linger.
