We stayed in the John Egan suite and will definitely stay again if we ever make it back up to Eganville from Niagara.  The suite was spacious and well-equipped, with a separate seating area and beautiful, large bathroom, it was clean and close to everything in town (grocery store and restaurants).  Parking is in the public lot across the road (it is very safe, you can see your car from the window) and the view of the river from the main room is stunning, especially when the sun sets.  I am thrilled that we chose to stay here.  We were able to use it as our base for two separate day trips into Algonquin Park, and we also went to Bonnechere Caves.

Beautiful suite, beautiful view.  Highly recommended.

Of all the places that I have stayed in , in North America, The Egan Inn is by far my favorite. The rooms are spacious, very clean and decorated in furnishings to go with the old building  ,friendly manager. Beautiful view and reasonable rates.

A unique treasure

This small hotel, four rooms, was clean, spacious, incredibly appointed, with very comfortable beds.  The entry was a bit off putting but after reading the note and then retrieving our key from the next door pub and climbing the stairs, the rooms were a pleasant surprise. Our only disappointment was the very poor internet reception. It was intermittent after many tries at connecting. Instructions were clear but signal was barely adequate even for email.

European Feel

So cute! Up a squeaky staircase to our guest room. The river room was so lovely. Overlooking the river. 20 foot ceilings. Huge room. Huge bathroom. And tastefully decorated. Extremely comfortable beds. Spotlessly clean. We had a really nice nights stay. Parking is across the street at a little parking lot. There is no room service or any other amenities but we didn't really need anything. We ate at the RIO around the corner. Really good food. Very reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again.

The Egan Inn, Eganville

We stayed one night in Serendipity Suite while at a wedding nearby. There was a fireplace in the living room and a tv in the bedroom.  It was very clean, well decorated, and everything you could want.  You check in at the outdoor store below during business hours and at a restaurant up the street after hours.

Lovely Inn

We stayed for one night at the Egan Inn in Eganville. What a beautiful inn. The rooms are newly renovated. They are big bright and clean. From some of the rooms you can get a real good view of the Bonnechere River. Best place to stay in town. You do have to register at the Outdoor store below or at the restaurant up the street when the store is closed. Note there are a lot of steps so not recommended for anyone having difficulty with steps.
