The food here is undescribable. Every morsel of every meal we had was superb. Chef Carson knows what he is doing. Nicole, the wait staff, is a character. She is full of energy, spunk and keeps you smiling.  The staff are accommodating, helpful and  always pleasant.

 We really enjoyed our stay in this quaint old home and would recommend eating and staying here.

We were prevented from visiting PEI by the recent Hurricane Dorian.  Although we were able to travel (finally) to several areas in New Brunswick, it was our visit to Bouctouche and stay at Auberge View d'la Dune which redeemed our Maritime holiday this year.  Our hosts (Nicole and chef husband, Carson) had experienced their own problems  arising from the storm (hydro outage) and were just in process of reopening the inn/restaurant to guests.  We were fortunate to reserve a room for two nights (views of Bouctouche bay) and partake of a generous and delicious dinner served to our room because the restaurant was not yet open.  Great food, an ocean-view room, gracious hosts and proximity to a beautiful beach (Ecocentre) and lovely Arboretum... definitely redeemed our visit east this year.

Redemption

Visited this area with family from Ontario.   The weather was great.   We enjoyed everything we set out to do except Payee de la Seiguine, the restaurant wasn’t open on Monday to serve and let us sample Acadian cuisine unless we paid the gate fee to take the  walk which took people to the entertainment, some food, etc.    Disappointed, but I guess not enough people visit for the restaurant to be open during the week only on weekends and on special occasions.  We did  however enjoy the excellent food prepared by Chef Carson at the Auberge Vue d’la Dune where we spent the night.   Comfortable, clean bedroom.

Touring Bouctouche, NB and area

We had our first dinner at the hotel restaurant and we were very happy with our experience. The snails were very good and we ordered the special dish that included a pan of seafood with fries and vegetables. The pan was delicious and just enough to enjoy a good dish. A companion had ordered a Greek salad and found it was fresh with a great sauce. A very well-liked experience!

It's a great restaurant with a very intimate atmosphere.

We were captivated by the story of Nicole and Carson, and their family, so we decided to book a visit.  The inn is small, but the room we had was comfortable,  The bed was firm, which was good.  There is a small table and chairs in the room.  The bathtub is jetted, and a large corner type.  
We absolutely wanted to have dinner in the inn, and had made a reservation.  The dining room is managed by Nicole, and she is efficient and organized, even when the patrons throw her a curveball by showing up a half hour early.  She is assisted by her young daughter, who is a delight.  The windows in the dining room offer a view of the dunes, and it was a stormy night, so we got to watch the weather over the ocean.  We split a liter of wine and took Carson's suggestion to have the seafood casserole, which was excellent.  The sauce is divine, giving you an inclination to lick the plate (we resisted).  We also had the scallops with a mushroom pesto sauce, that had a great deal of flavor.  The gardens were yielding lots of produce for the kitchen.  Fresh vegetables are so wonderful with dinner. 
Because our stay was on a Saturday night, we were lucky enough to enjoy the Sunday morning brunch.  Eggs benedict, croissants, scrumptious fish cakes, scrambled eggs, tender, flavorful sausage, fluffy pancakes and fruit salad were featured.  We were groaning by the time we left, so full. 
We left and headed down to the boardwalk over the dunes to walk off some of the calories from eating so much.

3 lovely days at the dune view hostel. Well located. Nicole our host, welcomes her guests pleasantly. comfortable room. We had dinner 2 nights on the spot and had the best meals in the area gone. I'll get bored of her seafood pot. 😊

3 days in Bouctouche

Charming inn on the bay of Bouctouche. Great for private family gatherings. Buffet style food is varied and plenty. Best ribs anywhere...better than Montana's and St-Hubert. Very good roast chicken and sea food casserole. Good variety of desserts and best pecan pie...as good as home made. Husband and wife operation and very friendly. Nicole was a great hostess. Sure to return again. Highly recommended.

Hidden jewel in NB

Stopped here for Sunday supper buffet. The food is excellent, fresh, hot and plentiful. The service is friendly and warm. The veggies are organically grown by the owner. This quaint little Inn has some beautiful views of the Bouctouche Bay. A lovely place to have a romantic dinner or a great place to enjoy food and conversation with friends. Also easy access to the dinning room for those with mobility issues. See you soon.

The Food

On our arrival we were greeted by Nicole, who along with her husband owns this Inn and the accompanying farm.  It was like meeting and old friend.   First off, she admitted that the room wasn't ready and she could either give us a beer or wine or we could go into town.  We were tired and thirsty and so we went into town, and as usual, found the local pub which was great.  We returned to fine our room ready and our dinner being prepared.   Our dinner was wonderful, sitting at a table looking out over the water.  Breakfast next morning was also great and after meeting her three children who were waiting for the school bus, we felt like we were leaving friends when we left.   We will be back!
