We stayed in the Jervis Room for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. Colin and Carole were excellent hosts and were very attentive. It's clear that they take great pride in their B&B and want their guests to be comfortable. 

The room (and entire house for that matter) was well appointed and immaculate. It had a fireplace and its own entrance from the garden. There is a common room with a fireplace and TV as well as a small kitchen with a fridge, microwave and kettle. 

The breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal and baked goods. We couldn't ask for a better start to the day.

There is a beautiful beach and picnic area about a kilometer away. 

Roberts Creek is between Gibsons and Sechelt so this B&B is very well situated. 



Attention to detail in every way

Very nice B and B. My family of 9 visited for two nights. There are 4 rooms downstairs each with a bathroom. There was a large living area downstairs for visiting at night. We were on a tight schedule and Colin was a great help to us as we tried to schedule a ferry to leave the area. For breakfast Carol has a beautiful table set and it was delicious.Wish we had more time to visit with them.  At night we played croquet out back and enjoyed the cool Canada weather. Would definitely stay here again.

good family spot

We are a foursome of friends, professionals in our 30's and 40's, who rented the Sand and Sea cottage for a long weekend.  We had a nice time and spent quite a bit of time cleaning and tidying on the Sunday morning.  Colin was just lovely.  Carole asked us at check out what we did for dinner while there.  We told her that we cooked some lovely meals and relaxed on the deck.  Her demeanor quickly changed from sweet and friendly, and she told us that there would be a $30 fee for using the oven!  When we questioned her on that, she walked us in and showed us the sheet--which did not say there was a surcharge for using the oven.  She then inspected the oven (which we used for about 15 min to heat something up) and stated it was greasy and dirty and we would have to be charged extra.  We offered to wipe it down while we were there, and she hovered over us and handed us hot cloths to rinse it after.  She then told us the glasses weren't clean (which we washed with hot soap and water) and would need to be re-done.  She then opened the cupboard and counted dishes.  She then took us to the bathroom and pointed out that the towels (still on the racks), should be in the bathtub.  She also mentioned that  "many people just use one towel".  There were 4 of us and we did not relish the idea of sharing a towel, thank you very much.  The whole inspection left us with a bad taste, and honestly, I would not recommend this cottage as a result.  We have rented cottages many times in the past, and have never been treated this way.

We chose to stay around Roberts Creek due to its proximity to both Sechelt and Gibsons but was not in the main city areas. What a great choice to stay with Carole and Colin, who were very gracious hosts who prepared amazing breakfasts and were great to talk with and to get to know. 
We came as a get away for our anniversary and the space couldn't have been more comfortable and welcoming.
The rooms which are mostly located downstairs each have their own showers and washrooms, with each room having separate locks and keys for added security. The rooms all come onto a common space with a TV, couches, fridge, sink, kettle, and microwave. 
The rooms themselves were well-furnished with a dresser, desk and nightstands. The beds were very comfortable and definitely made the nights even more enjoyable. 
The whole building has access to the free wifi which definitely is a huge plus. 
The breakfasts that Colin and Carole prepare are done with such care and effort. Fruit cups in high glasses, with an assortment of breakfast cereals available. Fresh baked pastries are also a highlight of the breakfast spread.

Great place to get away!

Carole and Colin are very friendly and helpful hosts. They went out of their way to spoil me since I was their only guest and prepared a variety of delicious hot breakfasts for the 3 days I was there.  We enjoyed many interesting conversations about a variety of topics at breakfast. They provided suggestions and directions for restaurants, parks, beaches, shops and other local activities.   Other perks included their covered patio with comfy furniture, a well-appointed and comfortable living room, and the handy call button, which they  immediately answered and provided me with whatever I had asked for.  Next time I visit the Sunshine Coast, I would love to stay there again.
