An absolutely terrible experience. They refused to price match their own website. The staff working the desk was super rude. The room was uncleaned. It did not have the advertised amenities, nor was there patio furniture. I cannot in good conscience, advise anyone to stay here. 

Better to just sleep in the car. 

This hotel is NOT what the add says. The beds need replaced , there is NO restaurant , there is NO deck with patio tables and chairs. ( as pictured on hotels.com ) There is the large deck with a couple of worn out metal chairs and LOTS of garbage on it and you do not have access to it. We saw the deck from our very tiny balcony. NO lock on the patio door.  I have never written a review from anywhere we have stayed but I felt i had to write a review for this hotel.  Go anywhere but here.  It is located in a very nice spot and could be a nice place - but lacks maintenance ( there is none ) and property grounds are horrible. STAY AWAY !!!

Avoid this hotel !!!

Awful place to stay. These pics on listing are old. When you actually get there, this place screams “booldozed me down” There is no restraunt. Rooms are old and outdated. Broken screen door. Chairs on a balcony are from dumpster for sure. We didn’t get a key because cleaner had it. When we left Togo out for dinner, we looked the door. Came back and they had to unlock our door with screwdriver, really? The only good thing there is a view, if you are willing to pay $300 per night for it. Total waste of money.

Run away from this dump

This was the dirtiest hell hole i have ever had the the misfortune to stay in.
The carpets are filthy. The toilet bowl had feces in it. The sheets were stained and had hairs on them as well as small bugs. Fleas?
Everything about the place is tired and rundown.
The breakfast was very poor also.

DO NOT STAY HERE

Me & wife had booked a room here for our anniversary on August 27th.  We were running a little late from Banf, so we called Rocky Mountain Lodge around 7:30 pm.  It went to voicemail so we left a message, and made several more attempts to call with no answer.  Five minutes before we arrived there around 1015 pm we received a text informing of us which room were booked in and the room being left unlocked with the key inside.  When we got there the room was dirty, dingy, and smelled musty.  The sink did drain properly and the toilet looked dirty.   My wife was mortified & so upset she said she would rather sleep in the car.  Since there was nobody to complain to, we left and stayed at another hotel.  When he contacted the manager the next day and explained the situation, and asked for the charge to be reversed.  He  responded with you should have texted me back last night & I could have given the room to someone else, and refused to reverse the charge.  The pictures are on their website are very deceptive...it's actually shows more like a one star motel.

Unhygienic Unpleasant odour & appeared not be not very clean

We have been staying at this hotel 4 out of the last 5 years with incredible experiences. This year was not only disappointing it was disgusting. The rooms were dirty, smelled bad. The bathroom was covered in cobwebs, bugs attached and the bed linens were badly stained; flat pillows. The free breakfast was cold with no staff to checking on it and no other meals offered even though they advertised a full restaurant. In the past, we rated this hotel a 5/5. This stay is a 1/5... not worth anywhere near $259.95
  

VERY disappointing experience

I have attached a picture of a used ostomy bag that was hanging in the room. The bathroom had dry soap cakes from the previous occupant. Main office was locked up and no response. This hotel is now owned by the Chalet next door. There is no breakfast and at checkout there is no one around.
Oh and to the non existent owners the missing bed linen from my room was given to another room who’s beds were dirty and slept in. They tried to contact you but no answer.
We were the ones that found your cell phone at 0100h on the BCHA.com site under Radium.
All this for $300. Do not stay here.

Rocky Mountain Springs Lodge: A Disgusting Nightmare

Prepare to be appalled by the state of the rooms at Rocky Mountain Springs Lodge. Our recent stay turned into a living nightmare as we discovered dirty rooms, beds with only sheets (no actual bedding), and hair scattered all over the bathroom. But that's not all! We were also greeted by used soap left in the shower and bugs crawling on the bathroom floor. And just when we thought it couldn't get any worse, we stumbled upon a used ostomy bag filled with human urine. Unbelievable!

To top it all off, we were forced to offer a fellow guest a sheet from our single bed because their own bed was infested with human hair. This hotel's lack of cleanliness and disregard for basic hygiene is truly unacceptable.

Stay far, far away from Rocky Mountain Springs Lodge if you value cleanliness, comfort, and your sanity. This is a place to avoid at all costs.

Rocky Mountain Springs Lodge: A Disgusting Nightmare

We arrived at property late to find open room with key inside. Bathroom had sour towels, dirt in the bathtub and feces on the toilet. The bed had lumpy pillows with hair embedded in cases that looked like it had never been washed. Dirty coffee cups. 
The front desk was closed so decided to stay 1 night instead of 2. In morning, front desk was still not open so called number on Expedia booking to advise that we were checking out due to conditions of the room and property. He proceeded to charge for 2 nights and would not refund the difference.
Avoid this place at all cost.

Dirty! Don’t stay here

I stayed one night in Aug.2022. The breakfast offered the next morning was awful. The box of juice in breakfast pack was expired for several months. (exp. Feb.2022)!!
Beds were not clean and full of hair.
Very bad experience. If you do not want to ruin your vacation, stay away from this hotel.
