My Son and I just spent 2 nights at Marigold resort and rented cabin #3. The cabin was well equipped and has a beautiful view of the lake. Eddy and Christine are wonderful hosts and we enjoyed a story or two with them! We rented both a pontoon boat and a fishing boat but preferred the fishing boat as we caught more Kamloops trout in it! Talking about catching fish be careful of the Loons, they try to steal the fish right off your line and continue to follow right behind the boat waiting for the next hit! We will definitely be back, I have been coming to Loon since I was a kid, this lake never disappoints!  S. Winters 

Fantastic weekend get-away 

Have stayed in several cabins at different location so do not expect a five star resort!
We stayed 5 nights in a two room cabin with seniors plus another couple. 
Nobody took us to cabin to explain anything! And, we found out two elements on stove didn’t work; the tap was missing on cold water in tub.(when mentioned to owners: “oh didn’t he leave you pliers”.)No, he didn’t or even mention. There was a portable heater that a wheel was missing off it so had to make sure you balanced it correctly. The cutlery drawer was so warped that you had to jiggle it around to get open or closed. The windows were very warped especially the kitchen.
I had rented a motorboat (fishing) for the time there. One day at 4:00p decided to switch to a pontoon boat; so we had to pay full day for motorboat PLUS 1/2 day for pontoon. So, paid for 1 1/2 days in less than a 24 hour period!! Paid for parking for second vehicle that had to be parked accros the road in an open area that no one could see from our side as there’s a bit of a hill. You also pay for gas for motor boat (you pay for boat rental). Not sure what good a motor boat is with no gas! 
The owners are very friendly but appear to have no vested interest  in their property. No one ever asked if we needed anything or had any concerns.
It is a shame as they have an excellent location right on the shore of lake with docks in front of each cabin.

We just stayed Sept 8-13(today).
Our Cabin(#4)
No hood vent for stove in a forest fire area.
Poor paint job
Bathroom is 100 feet away with a padlock.If not boys trip,and I brought my wife?=would probably not stay
Needed noisy space heater to stay warm at night
Wall plug in bedroom inoperable
No Tongs!
BBQ access,but minimal (wood)tools for cooking anything on it

Boats:
Pricey and need serious re furnishing 
Leather worn down,captains seat u can’t lean back on or it will break and my buddy said it was not very padded for sitting on

Poor lighting overall throughout campground
We had balcony lights strung up,(but not connected to power)
 New owners that I think bought the resort at a good price thinking they have something and are now stuck with the neglect and lack of money spent from the previous owners who probably were happy someone bought them out

They have a long road ahead of them and much money to pay for improvements

We will go elsewhere next time

Work needs to be done

A wonderful vacation with our two grandsons.  Cabins are perfect for family stays, kitchen well equipped.  Accommodation exactly what we expected.  Rental of pontoon a must.  Grandchildren loved swimming in middle of lake and fishing on Loon Lake.  Christine and Eddie lovely friendly couple.  Hope to return next summer.

4 night stay

Just spent 3 nights at the resort and we all had a good time - even the cat! It was nice to be able to take our own boat and use their docks. The cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable. Check it out!

Fishing was great!

Was there for three nights and rented an RV for my wife and I along with a 2 bedroom cabin  for my daughter and husband and two kids  (4 and 1) and Linda kindly allowed us to also pitch a tent for my son and his wife and son and niece. (2 and 3)
Super quiet until we arrived. Very patient with the noisy babies and adults managing to sit around the fire until after the regular hours of a campsite.
Highly recommend the pontoon rental. Great lake for fishing and swimming!
We will be back!

Great spot!

We stayed 4 nights at this resort. The most amazing hosts, fishing and very comfortable beds. We had our grandsons with us and Linda was amazing with them. Couldn’t get wifi on my laptop, but no problem on my cell. We have booked again for next year. A definite for ultimate fishing.

Best fishing trip ever

We visited for the first time last September and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Check in was easy. Linda was super helpful. Our cabin was the smallest one and it was perfect for a cozy long weekend getaway. Looking forward to visiting again in the summer. 

We loved our visit to the Marigold Resort on Loon Lake!

Our older son suggested a family get together at Marigold Resort in early 2020.  He made the initial arrangements and my wife and I and our younger son and his family booked shortly after.

We were in 2 RVs and 1 cabin.  Accommodation were outstanding - lots of room, well equipped and right on the lake.  Waking up to the silence broken by splash of the jumping Kamloops Rainbow Trout was truly restful and re-energizing.

Breakfast in the morning and dinner on the BBQ in the evening were all that was needed to keep us going for full days of boating  tubing, kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming.

Lots of time to read, nap or just work on your tan.

Quality time with family - 2 sons and daughter-in-laws, 3 grandchildren were full of fun and new memories.

Reasonable rates, well stocked little store and super friendly owners make it a trip well worth enjoying.

In fact  we gave already booked for next year.

August 2020 - Family Get Together

Our group of 4 visited Marigold for a multi-generational fishing g trip and we were fortunate to find this resort. The cabins are very clean and your deck overlooks the lake. Basically each cabin has it's own pier and we rented a pontoon boat fro the entire stay. The lake is very pretty and stocked with fish. We were by no means dedicated fishermen (we certainly didn't't arise at dawn to catch them), but we caught about 70 in the week/ It is a great place for kids to reel in a bunch of fish. They are good size, no real large ones though (not sure if the lake fully freezes over winter. the resort has a store that has all the essentials including tackle and even advice on what is working.
It is not a stocked cabin and you need your own bedding as well as paper towel, any spices or sugar or coffee. The kitchen has a full size stove, fridge, coffee make, and microwave. Beds are comfortable.
If you are thinking of visiting this resort you should definitely go ahead and book - you will love it.
