The perfect little retreat to stay at when exploring the Jasper and Valemount area. We were travelling through and regrettably could only stay one night but the accommodations were cosy, comfortable, and included a great number of amenities. The beds were comfortable and the suite was very clean. The interior had a lovely rustic yet modern decorating style and added to the cosy cabin retreat ambiance. I highly recommend this guest suite and also recommend staying more than one night to enjoy all it has to offer.

A cosy special space

Wonderful setting with great, well equipped, exceptionally clean suites. Perfect location for hikes, sightseeing,  or just kicking back. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Elli was a great host with and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend

1st Canadian Trip

I can't say enough positive about this guest house.  Sparkling clean, cozy and super comfortable.  We were able to make our own meals.  There is a barbeque ( brand new) for guest use as well.  The owner knew that we were interested in watching a basketball game and the tv was on and ready for us when we returned from hiking.  So thoughtful.
The bed was very comfortable.  
I highly recommend this guest house.  The location is beautiful as well.  Very private and quiet.
We will definitely return.

Absolutely Perfect

Jasper was all booked up so we had too expand our search and ended up at the Bearberry Meadows Guest House, and I'm glad we did! I normally do not like guest houses or Bed and Breakfasts. That's just a me thing, but it kind of lets you know where I am coming from with this review.

Our room was spotless, very cozy, very cute, had a simple kitchenette, and a separate entrance. We cooked our dinner (simple!) in room, saving a lot of money and we didn't have to go out into the cold night. Then breakfast was a European-style breakfast that Ellie brought down on a tray and we prepared ourselves at our leisure the next morning. I follow a vegan diet, and though she didn't have special vegan foods, she provided me wit plenty of oats and real maple syrup, so I had a very healthy, hot, and delicious vegan breakfast (which is not always the case, believe me!). For my daughter, who is not vegan, three was a lovely tray of cheeses and meats, butter, toast, and granola with milk. Best of all was when we woke up, the view out our window was stunning! We had arrived in the pitch black night, so we had no idea what was right outside our window.

Anytime I'm heading west of Jasper, I would not hesitate to stay at Bearberry Meadows again.

A lovely discovery

Elli, the hostess and owner, is warm and welcoming: she just came out of her garden when we arrived and offered us a bowl of freshly picked raspberries. She also provided good and practical advice on the places to eat, and in general she gave us the feeling she really cared about us enjoying our time in her place. Hospitality is in her DNA.
We stayed in the Goslin Suite: very clean and well taken care off, albeit nothing fancy. After all, this is a B&B in the mountains. Bed perhaps a bit small for two tall people, but we slept very well, in spite of the thunderstorm that night. Very good value for money. We would have stayed longer if there was availability. Thank you Elli for being such a wonderful host, wished we would meet hosts like you more often!

Most lovely place

Peaceful landscape included outdoor area with lounge chairs and BBQ for guests.  Friendly owners are very helpful.  Basic amenities provided, including shampoo.  Free WiFi is slow but reliable.  TV/DVD is available in common room. Really appreciated all the tourist information pamphlets laid out in the common area.  Must check out the Caribou Grill and Swiss Bakery while you're in town!

Cozy suite, quiet location

We loved our stay at the Bearberry. The suites were a good size, clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Quiet and well off the highway. Stunning views and comfortable seating outside for sipping and admiring the scenery. Elli was friendly and warm. We were just stopping through on our way to Edmonton, but hope to spend a few days at the Bearberry in the future to explore the area more. Thanks so much for a great evening and night!
