We, family of four, spent two nights in this beautiful area of Canada. Our two rooms were comfortable, clean though the AC was loud. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not seem to exist any more (we had read excellent reviews before our departure) and breakfast is delivered in the room the day before in a basket. Breakfast was not my taste, we  got muffins, exactly one mug of instant coffee per person, a piece of cheese and some fruits. But this is not the worst part of it, it seems to me absolutely unacceptable that plates and cuttlery are not deliverd with the brakfast baskets. Since we did not feel like eating with our fingers, we tried on the second morning at exactly 8:00 o'clock to ask for help at the reception, but no one was around. Actually during our stay (two nights) just on the day of our arrival a young lady talked to us at the reception for two minutes. That is all! Terribly disappointing. Customer service should be improved here! A real shame

Beautiful location - Nice place  - No staff available!!

We had a 2 night stay.  Owners were very friendly and accomodating.  The room was clean and quiet.  Very close walk to the water with beautiful walking/cycling trails. Large veranda at the front of the hotel with comfortable chairs. Wonderful experience, will definitely return.

Quiet, clean and friendly

We had a stop over in Quebec en route to Ottawa.  We stayed at the Auberge La Dolce Vita for one night and enjoyed a nice quiet evening.  The hotel had a lovely high end restraint that offers amazing food and drinks.  We totally enjoyed a lovely pasta dinner that exceeded my expectations.  And my daughter who is a very picky eater was able to request a modified version of pasta they the chef was able to do no problem.  Loved the location and the hotel and staff,

We only stayed for one night (27/07/19) but it was such a cool experience. We also had a great dinner there and breakfast the next morning was superb. Thanks for having us, and a definitive recommendation for other travellers.

Friendly owners, great and big rooms

My older daughter and I stayed here for one night on our way back from Nova Scotia.  We were going to the Saguenay region for my daughter to do research for a book she is writing.  Our very spacious room with private bathroom was on the second floor at the back.  When we looked out of our window, we could see our Jeep with our bikes.  There were a lot of cyclists staying there as half of the cars had bikes on them.

The owner's son who was working on the front desk was charming and showed us to our room. The next day, the owner brought us our breakfast on the pretty verandah.  It  was outstanding.    We then drove to Riviere du Loop where we took the ferry to Saint Simeon.  

We then drove to Tadoussac where we caught the free 10 minute ferry to Baie Saint Catherine.  Our final destination in Sauganey - Sainte-Rose-du-Nord!

Auberge La Dolce Vita is a gem!

My car broke down on the hwy and I needed a place stay for a few days (with my dog). The owners were very friendly and helpful, location was great and the hotel/restaurant was very nice. Highly recommended. I’ll be back for sure. Thanks

Wonderful experience during unexpected event

The inn is composed of very nice rooms, clean and well equipped. The dining room is ordinary, but the dishes are of high quality. There is a bar and a terrace and the owners are very welcoming. The hostel is 50 meters from the lake and the ferry which gives a wonderful view of all the surroundings!

We stopped here for the first time, avoiding the crowded Edmunston for a change. The front of the building is beautifully decorated with flowers. Inside, it's a rambling place, a bit tatty in the common areas.
The room was not large, but did give us a small view of the lake. The bed was very comfortable, lots of pillows. Very small bathroom with inadequate towel racks and very little space to put our things.. 
We had dinner on the front porch. It's worth staying here to eat - fro one thing, there's not much else around and it was good, pricing quite acceptable. The presentation was exceptional. I had fish as a main course and found it lacking in flavour but the dessert - three minis - was wonderful.I would stay here again.


Lovely Stop over

We both enjoyed a wonderful evening in the quiet little village. Our room looked over the lake and was very quiet. Our dog was welcomed and dogs can accompany you to the dining room.
Wonderful dinner and breakfast and the service was personal and efficient.
