Be aware!
We've booked this location 1.5 month in advance on booking.com as a last stopover within a longer trip. It has been confirmed. But 2 days before our journey, they sent us a message that there was an error in the pricing and they will add $30 extra charge for the night. (As a fact, without asking or apologizing) We've tried to explain them in French and English that this is not how it works. She was not open to any resolution and wants us to cancel the booking because probably this way she can give the room to someone else for a higher price or for a longer stay without any consequences. I've contacted Booking.com and I'll update this post as the situation advances.
Digging through the reviews on Booking.com and TripAdvisor, others were complaining that they changed their room because another guest wanted to stay longer or offered another room and charged more. Now I see that ours it is not an isolated incident. I just don't understand how they have good ratings. Worst booking experience ever. Though I've been in 20+ countries and booking many-many locations.

Be aware! They don't respect the price they confirm on Booking.com.

We have stayed here twice this month en route to and from Halifax and Montreal.
The B and B is charming and full of character and, like the owner Pauline, very welcoming.
The rooms are extremely clean and well equipped. The beds are comfortable and hot water ample. 
The breakfasts are delicious, substantial, and beautifully presented.
Pauline is a kind and generous host. On our second visit we had car trouble and she picked us up from where we were stuck and brought us to the gîte. In the morning she assisted us in resolving the problem. Service above and beyond the call of duty!
We'll certainly stay here again!

Fabulous!!

We stayed here on our way to PEI and we were so pleased. The hostess, Pauline, and her breakfasts are as good as it gets and make this one of the most impressive B&Bs that we have ever stayed in. Our room was on the second floor at the back of the building so we had nice views of the lake. The room was smallish but completely adequate, and when you consider the shared covered deck there was plenty of space to move around, and even meet other travelers. The town is small so it was easy to walk to everything including the fort, beach, restaurants, etc. We will definitely stay here again.

Charming gite with incredible breakfast

One of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in!  The breakfast was incredible!!  And the rooms were very nicely furnished and decorated.  I was traveling with my 90-yr-old mother and she was very accommodating to us.

Wonderful hospitality and breakfast

This B&B was recommended by friends who had stayed before, but we were disappointed by the cramped space offered by the bedroom, and by having a small ground level terrasse instead of the balcony as advertised. The upstairs rooms may have great views and balconies, but if you get the last room, #4, you may also be disappointed. The hostess Pauline was very welcoming, we each tried our second languages, breakfast was elegant, wifi worked and parking was safe and easy.

Highly recommended, mildly disappointing

We spent at Gite Grand 2 days and enjoyed every moment. We had 2 rooms - a studio and a room with a lake view. Both were very good. The B&B has a nice porch with very comfy arm-chairs and tables. We spent there an evening drinking wine and watching the lake. 
Pauline - the hostess is a very lovely lady , who goes an extra mile to make her guests happy.
 We travel a lot and I must say that Pauline breakfasts were the best we ever experienced. Very highly recommended. It's a log drive for us, but if we'll be in the area again this B&B will be in our itinerary for sure.

We stopped here on the way to Montreal and we are so happy we did! The place is sooo cozy, the owner is amazing, breakfast 5*... and we felt totally at home. I hope we will have a chance to visit again. And you should definitely come too!! 

Amazing place!!

This gite is very special and so is the person who runs it. Tucked away from the noise in the business area, the serenity was just one of the benefits of staying here. Rooms are not overly large but they are clean and very comfortable. But it is Pauline, and her enthusiasm that made our stay so memorable.
