The small rooms have everything you need in a tiny space, but its aspect is unsurpassed. There is a bike/walking trail which goes for miles along the lake. A small breakfast is available in the charming main building dining room, served with flare.

Very pleasant stay overlooking the lake.

Martine is a superb hostess who makes every effort that you have a great visit. Comfy lakeside rooms & very clean. The room service breakfasts are tastefully prepared. Marie-Blanc’s location is very quiet and right next to a very scenic (former railway) biking & walking trail. Will return and will highly recommend to friends.

A great spot to stopover on your way to the Maritimes

What a find.  I arrived at the main building to check in and stepped back to another time - beautiful antique furnishings in a gorgeous and well maintained building - peaceful, warm and inviting.  The check in desk has a comfortable seating area and stone fireplace adjoining the well laid out dining room and patio.  I had personalized customer service and the rooms are super clean with everything you need; comfy beds, shower, wifi etc. - all in a peaceful setting overlooking the lake.  I never felt rushed and every question was answered with grace and care.  What more could one want?  My stay was simply too short, I will recommend and return.  PS: Be sure to leave time to sit by the lake with a glass of wine before dinner and arrive hungry.  Delicious food for both dinner and breakfast, featuring many local treats!!!

Beautiful historic setting - breathtaking lake views alongside a bike path!

So is this an inn or a motel? It has all tje homey feeling and services (exceptional meals) of an inn with the cute living units of a motel. The rooms though are large and cozy, very clean and pretty. Small fridge, keurig, separate sink, great wifi made our stay really nice. What made it perfect were the chairs by the waterfront, the exceptional food, the friendliness of the host and the general feeling of peaceful rest.
Great place for cyclists as the trail is just next to the Auberge. Makes for a great place to stay and explore the area.

Calm, ultra clean, beautiful setting - just perfect!

The owner/innkeeper exemplified perfect customer service: warm, hospitable, informative, attentive, and efficient.  The rooms were up to date, really clean, freshly painted, and all you need for a few nights - not oversized, but fine for two people, who like one another.  Then there's the food, incredible.  We have just motored in from Quebec City and thought we had enjoyed several world-class meals in city, but this surpassed them all.  I'm still thinking about both the dinner and breakfast.  The stopover was the highlight of our trip and am definitely coming back.  Oh, by the way, the cabins sit along a delightful long lake. Be sure to bring a book and relax in the Adirondack chairs.

Impeccable rooms, Soul warming meals

Ambiance in the main inn is exceptional.  Motel type rooms are above average, clean & comfortable.  Service is second to none.  Breakfast was one of the best ever with fresh local cheese, berries, maple syrup, etc.  This was my second stay here in the past 4 years.  I will stay here again and again on trips to the Maritimes.

Exquisite

This beautiful spot is the perfect marriage of simplicity and elegance. The rooms are in a motel-like building—simple but extremely comfortable—great bedding, beautiful view of the lake. This combined with the opportunity to dine in the elegant atmosphere of the century old inn. The proprietor, Martine, is extremely helpful. She welcomes you graciously and helps with choices from their incredible menu. Breakfast is not included in the price of the room, but a great value not to be missed. Sumptuous  meals, good wine, what more could you want?  We stumbled on this inn and will return as often as we can!

Truly lovely getaway

The inn is a magnificent old hunting lodge and the owners have managed to retain the typical atmosphere of this type of rich house from the early twentieth century. This is undoubtedly the best meal I have had in my entire trip to southeast Quebec and the Maritimes! A cheek of veal fondant accompanied by a magnificent red wine of Bordeau. The service is very smiling and very professional! It is better to book in order not to be disappointed!

The best table in the area!

Though I can not complain about the hotel itself or the staff I am furious with this establishment.  A year after our stay here, they have charged us for our stay.  We booked on Expedia and they claimed that it did not go through.  We asked them to please send an email and pass the charge if it had not gone through then.  A year later, I now live in Japan and incurred a charge on our credit card.  When I asked them to remove this charge they refused.  I'm not sure what kind of consumer protection rights customers have in Quebec, but this is ludicrous.  I am appalled and would not recommend staying here unless you want your accounts carelessly messed with.
