We had two nights at this B&B and found the owner very welcoming. We chose the hunter room which we found very quirky with a Moose duvet. The price was reasonable and it was handy for the national park. They also have a games room. We got a bonus when staying as a  bear was seen on the front lawn attacking a trash bin.

Our stay at the The Whitman Inn.

My wife, myself and a friend are just home from a weekend spent at the Kempt Country Inn, formerly the Whitman Inn. Located less than 5 minutes from the gates of Keji, it was the ideal location for two glorious days snowshoeing in the park. We stayed in the very well equipped housekeeping suite and prepared our own meals with the exception of breakfast which was provided by Marc and his wife, the new owners of the Inn. From the great breakfast, the comfy beds, the games room ( large smart tv, pool table, table tennis etc), cleanliness and friendliness, it was the perfect weekend escape. There is also an indoor pool which looked very very nice indeed! Planning to return in the Spring already. 

Now renamed Kempt Country Inn

Great visit to a historic inn in the country. Stayed 2 nights and had a corner, 2nd floor room (stairs) with green views of the grounds and forest. Room was quiet and clean with nice bathroom. Slept great after exploring and hiking in the park all day. There is a shared common refrigerator for guests downstairs; also a dining room and a living room. 
We took dinner and breakfast here each day. The meals were good, but a little sparse on fresh fruit and vegetables. (That may have been because they had a long duration power outage that just ended after Hurricane Dorian, and had not had a chance to re-stock yet)
Monica was helpful and full of information, and Hubert provided me with a little tour and explanation of the electric/wood furnace that supplies hot water and heat to the inn, which I appreciated. We would stay again if ever back in this area.

Good sleep in a historic countryside inn near the entrance to Keji National Park

We had a great stay.  The place is clean and comfortable, very close to the park and nice for day trips to Liverpool.
Monika and Herbert are so nice and accommodating.

It was a pleasure meeting them and staying at the Inn.

Amazing Place

Staff was very friendly. They welcomed us, showed us our rooms and the area. The rooms were clean and individually decorated. The beds are also very comfy. We did not have breakfast at the Inn, but it can be booked in advance.

Very close to Kejimkujik

Each room has a different theme. Generally the layout is pretty cute but non-invasive (the Valley of the Pharaohs, where we stayed basically had a couple of pieces of art mounted on the wall and some themed wall paper.

Generally decent facilities, the hostess is quite nice, breakfast is pretty reasonable. They have a common room with billiards and a good size TV

It's largely surrounded by woods in the 'middle' of the province. Anything other than the Park is about an hour's drive away. If you're there in May, be prepared for bugs.

Convenient lodgings near Kejimkujik National Park

Stayed for a night while visiting Keji.  It was fine for a night with a comfortable bed.  The food was ok - home cooked.  I don't recommend for anyone under 40.  They have a main room for games, pool table but it shuts down at 10 and it's quiet time (I mean QUIET time) after that.  The schnitzel was good at dinner (and the steak looked amazing!).  I ordered the salami, cheese and bread for breakfast thinking it would be incredible but it was literally processed cheese slices and processed salami slices for $8.50.  Recommendations to owners - turn on the lights and keep the door open.  It would be way more inviting.  And maybe some light music in the dining room? 

Comfortable 

This is the place (almost the only) to stay if you are not camping but want to spend a couple of days in Kejimkujik. The best adjective is "utilitarian". The room we stayed in was small with no place to put a suitcase except on the bed (although an expandable suitcase stand was provided it was propped up against the bathroom wall). The shower was fitful, going from cold to hot unexpectedly. The bed itself was comfortable enough but the bedding was a "hunter" theme and we found it somewhat unusual, shall we say. We only had breakfast (extra $) one day and the coffee was good. Again, this is the the place to stay if you're not camping in Keji. Otherwise, you would be stuck with at least a 1/2 hour drive just to get to the park
