Beware, do yourself a huge favor and just keep driving. 
The t.v. didn't work, the wi-fi didn't work either. 
Their rooms are dirty, and  this hotel is very  understaffed. The radiators are falling off the walls. There are holes in the walls. Yet they are worried about a guest ruining the room. It can not be destroyed anymore than it already is.
It's supposed to have no smoking rooms. However, everything smelt like an ashtray. 
I slept in my clothes,  due to how dirty everything was.
I am very disappointed, and the worst part is that they don't care.

Keep Driving 

How can this business can even be allowed to obtain a business license to operate is beyond belief. The Olympia Motel is literally worse than a crack shack, and this is by no means an exaggeration. 

The room door can't open/close properly as the hinge is broken off the frame. It can't even close or lock properly. The bathroom mirror was broken and never got fixed, along with blown light bulbs. There is water still dripping from the ceiling and they simply covered it up with a white cloth. You can also see black mold on the ceiling . This is hazardous to humans and they didn't even bother repairing it!

There are blood stains on the towel and I doubt it's even washed. Human hair was found on countertops and the toilet seat. I had asked for another room but the front desk person stated they were full, even though the parking lot was nowhere even close to being full. 

This was by far the worst place and no one should ever have to risk they health and personal safety just to save a few bucks. Go anywhere else in Calgary but here. You have to see the photos as they don't do enough justice.

Literally the worst motel in all of Canada...you must see photos taken!

I spent an hour in my room and left. It was not clean at all and not at all what the pictures on Expedia show. I did fortunately get a partial refund but they would not refund me the first night because they "held the room all day for me." I complained to Expedia and am working with credit card to get my money back.  Don't stay here!

Terrible

I booked this one on Booking.com looking for an inexpensive place to stay near my destination in Calgary. This place has no business advertising itself as a place for tourists to stay. From the homeless people hanging around the property, to the big hole in the office window, to the guy trying to sell me a "Rolex" in the office doorway, to the phone numbers scribbled on the walls of the room...well it was pretty obvious this was a flophouse, a first class dive. Turned around and went across the street to the Red Carpet Inn, a much nicer place by far!

Don't stay here

It was 2:00 in the morning and they started knocking on the door right after someone was being taken away in a carriage. This place looked like it was just old but it was dirty and cheap.

How does anyone spend the night here?

This place was disgusting. The manager was rude, there was dirt all over the bathroom, the TV didn't work whatsoever, and there was some sort of green, slimy growth on our headboard. We checked in, and within 30 minutes checked out again, despite the entire city being booked up. We were more content with sleeping in our car than in this disgusting place. It should be a last resort, and even that I'm not sure of.

Literally the filthiest place I've ever been in

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. The walls are cracked and stained. What upgrades are done are mis-matched and poorly executed. The floors are dirty. The beds have hair on them- which makes you question if the sheets have even been changed! I think there was blood on the wall above the bathroom door. There is no Wifi available and the TV is stuck on wrestle mania. Not one positive thing to say about the room. Absolutely deplorable. The only positive thing about the stay was that there is a Safeway across the road. Will warn other visitors to Calgary about this place.

Absolutely Disgusting

They do not care. It's basically like sure if you want to stay here you kind of can. 

Forced to check in during snow storm at 11pm, person who was behind the desk acted visibly bothered to have been waken up for a check in and confirmed as much when asked. 
Thin, lumpy, sagging, bed, sore back for days after that garbage sleep. Rooms looked clean-ish but looking closely the place is filthy. 
Tried to check out at 9AM, handwritten note indicated they will reopen at 8AM on a locked door with no hotel worker to be found anywhere. 
Grateful someone remembered to cancel my cc pre-auth. A last resort place for times of desperation I guess, they certainly are not trying for repeat travelers.

They Love Their 1 Star Rating

Slept in our clothes, went to washroom and had to get my friend to ,open door as inside door handle came off in my hand,  Needed to be gutted, we were on 2nd floor, carpet on stairs torn, next store room had large dog in it, noisy, partying, we could not wait till morning departure, manager had the nerve to ask for security deposit upon check-in which he said don't worry and backed down, just disgusting place!

Keep looking, sleeping in car would be better!

Clean but..... Things were clean but the place definitely needs some renos. Regular rate (according to online booking) seems to be about $60/night. However when rooms get book all over town, they will charge as much as possible (I paid over $150/night). Although I am grateful to have a room, I do feel taken advantage of at $150. (Having said that, perhaps all other hotels would do the same)

For me, I will stay here again but ONLY if there are no other rooms available. I would even drive 20 miles further to stay somewhere else.
