If you have happened on this property looking for a PEI vacation, save some time and look no further.  Every part of the Inn surpassed our expectations.  Our room was very well appointed with a comfortable bed. The heat/ac unit worked well with none of the noise often associated with inn stays. 

And the food, OMG.  We are foodies and love to try different restaurants when we travel.  We ate at the inn of the first night as we were too car weary to drive again.  Well, we immediately made reservations for the following two nights.  If you don't try the scallop appetizer if offered, you are missing one of the best apps we have ever had. They have had the same chef since the Inn opened and it is obvious why there has been no change.

How accommodating is the founder/builder/owner?  We mentioned that we are sea glass lovers and she immediately went to her room and brought out her amazing collection of glass and pottery.  She then proceeded to tell us where the best spots were on PEI to find glass.  She is a wonderful hostess and we enjoyed every minute at the inn.

By all means, check it out and you will not be disappointed in any way.

Search no more

We were toward the end of the season. The web site makes this appear fantastic. I believe that during the summer the gardens add greatly to the charm. October was bleak. Then there was the room itself. It looked tired, the couch looked ancient, the bathroom from the 70's, and the window too dirty for the view. The bed was sooo hard. For the price we were very disappointed. Our dinner and breakfast were fine..nothing to rave about. The service was prompt and pleasant. I think that there should be a lower price for the end of the season.

Way overpriced

The Inn is located in a great spot and close to great beaches.  The size of the rooms was great to accommodate a family.  The carpets could use a cleaning but overall the service was friendly.  I loved the balcony and great views.

Family Vacation

We stayed at The Inn at St. Peters 9 years ago and were impressed with the accommodations and great food. In September, 2019, we returned with another golden retriever and found the Inn was still very special. The setting on the Bay is perfect and the food and friendly staff make this a must visit. Add to that the amazing walks in Greenwich Provincial Park and you have the makings of great memories.

Still, a very special place.

From the moment Karen checked us in to the day we checked out everything was wonderful.  We spent a fabulous weekend here.  All rooms at the Inn face the water.  Beautiful views in a peaceful setting with beautiful gardens!  

Breakfasts were superb and so were our dinners. Room was large and comfortable and one could sleep for hours on the comfortable bed!!   All the staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful.

Only regret ... wish we could stay longer.  We look forward to returning real soon.

Beautiful Sunsets & Resort

The Inn at St. Peters could not have been more perfect.  We arrived feeling a bit under the weather and the comfy bed in our cabin was just what the doctor ordered.  The cabin has everything you could want for your stay.  I was so happy to even find real cream for my coffee in the fridge.  The breakfasts were delicious and the dinners some of the best we had on the island.  My husband had the halibut the first night while I had the salmon.  After tasting his I ordered the halibut the second evening and he tried the beef tenderloin.  Wonderful flavors.......
Karen is a superb innkeeper and it is reflected in the staff as well.  We would definitely hope to return in the future.

We loved it....

We were looking for a special place to end our week on the Island and we found it. Karen, the Innkeeper was friendly and helpful. My wife ordered the Lobster which was served out of the shell which was a plus. She proclaimed it excellent both in taste and presentation. I enjoyed the Beef Tenderloin which was cooked perfectly. For a spur of the moment decision to stop here for dinner, it turned out to be one of the five best meals I can remember. We will certainly return here next time we are in P.E.I.

A Real Gem on the Island

The Inn at St Peters made our trip to PEI a perfect getaway. Karen runs a great ship. She went out of her way to help us navigate a trip covering pretty much every inch of the island. The food at the Inn is wonderful, delicious home baked breads, fresh caught fish and far raised meats. The staff was so attentive with all our requests about food, where to go what to see. Our rooms were clean and spacious, plenty of hot water and the most comfortable bed. Right down the road from the Greenwich beach, which was absolutely gorgeous, and a stones throw from the ice cream parlor it was the perfect respite

Perfect location

From the time we arrived we were impressed with the incredible personal service and friendliness of the staff. Karen, the Innkeeper and owner, is welcoming and maintains a beautiful home and property. Her staff are trained well and very hospitable.  

Our room was nice, but basic decor, and bed was comfortable. I love that they have hardwood floors as I have a huge pet peeve with carpet in hotels (unless it’s 5 star). We had an amazing view of the bay and gorgeous grounds!  Location is great!  Our fave part of the area was Greenwich National Park. We rented bikes and did two cycling days and our fave was cycling out to Greenwich and riding around the park and to amazing beaches. PEI is one of my favourite Canadian places and I’ve travelled to every province. It is surreal.  The restaurant at the Inn is great. I have had more unique/gourmet breakfasts and it would have been nice to see some different fruit each day and fresh squeezed juices and perhaps some more unique offerings, but it was great as I said. Coffee good too! We went to the restaurant for dinner 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed there and dinner was also good to great, but not outstanding.

The only one thing that bothered us was how incredibly loud the air conditioning unit was. A/c is absolutely necessary there and you really need to run it all day. However, I have never heard such a loud unit both in and outside. It made impossible for us to sit on our deck in peace (even if we turned ours off briefly, the neighbor’s was full throttle) and also woke us up throughout the night when it kicked in and out. Even if they can’t install central air, they should really look at better units. Yes they keep the room cool but it really disrupted our stay. Other than that, it was fantastic!

Highly Recommended, loved this area and this Inn!

We stayed 2 nights and totally enjoyed our peace and quiet. It felt like home where we are far away from the noise. We were greeted by the groundskeeper who checked us in efficiently even though it’s not his usual job. He recommended somewhere else for supper as they were already full at the Inn restaurant on site that night. We made reservations for our second night and the view and food was great. We had 2 different complimentary breakfasts as well during our stay. But our favorite part by far was the collection of books that we were able to borrow while visiting! We spent plenty of time just reading peacefully on our deck and enjoying the view of the bay and the beautiful property. The owner, Karen, also introduced herself early on during our stay and called us by name every time she saw us as she also did with other guests. Greenwich beach is close by as well and we spent one morning cycling the Confederation Trail and the afternoon at the beach.
