Stayed with a friend. Staff is very friendly, ideal location close to everything, kitchen is supplied with everything you need, big clean bathroom. Beds a bit hard but not terrible. For the price it's actually perfect.

Excellent stay

Stayed one night while visiting Cabot Trail. They upgraded as a bigger cottage had a cancelation. The staff were really friendly and we had a great time. Basic cottage, but clean and quiet. Will come back again next time we're up this way.

Nice cottages, friendly staff

I don’t think I’ve ever written a review before but we are really frustrated and upset over the situation that had occurred. I had called the evening before to ask for a late checkout (12pm instead of 10am). I offered to pay an extra fee and was told I would not be charged and that a note was made on my file to ensure the cleaners were aware of the time change. I received a call from the office at 10:20 the next morning asking me if I was aware that checkout was at 10am. I told them of course I was aware but we had confirmed the evening before that we would be able to stay until 12pm. I was told that she okayed that request before they had someone new checking in that day and was then asked to be out of the cottage within 15 minutes. This was all in a condescending tone and I felt like I was being put down. We were great guests, kept our place very clean, and we’re barely in the cottage as we went for dinner, etc. I’ve stayed here a few times and had looked forward to it. Unfortunately, I will be choosing a different location next time.

Golf Trip

Very clean room, comfortable bed, good seating space both inside and outside. The kitchen was adequately equipped for very simple cooking. Gas grill on porch. You're sitting in the middle of a field, basically, in rows of cottages, but there is a partial view of the water, the Le Portage golf course is a 2-minute walk next door, and the park entrance is only about 5 minutes away. Parking right next to cottage.

Good location with kitchen

Easy to find off the main road. Clean and comfortable 2 bedroom cottage. Good sized living room dining room/kitchen combo. Kids loved that the second bedroom had 2 twin beds. They also loved walking down the driveway after dinner for ice cream at Mr. Chicken. View of the ocean from the porch, live music a short walk down the street along with the boardwalk. 

Cottage with a View

If you want first class accommodation at a reasonable rate this is the place. We have never stayed in such spotlessly clean, well equipped units as the Cabot Trail sea and golf chalets. Everything you can think of is there, good wifi plenty of parking and such helpful staff. Only stayed for one night enroute to PEI and if time permitted would have stayed longer. Congratulations to the owners and staff for providing such wonderful accommodation

Best accommodation in Cheticamp

My family of four recently stayed in one of your cabins and it was perfect for our stay in Chéticamp. Very clean and simple - no frills. It had lots of kitchen supplies, which we used to cook breakfast and dinner there for two days. 

It was a short/easy drive to nearby hiking spots and walking distance from a bar with live music. We saw a beautiful sunset right from our cabin.

The woman at front desk was extremely nice and hospitable. Thanks for such a pleasant stay! 

Lovely stay

Very clean,no clutter,everything you need for a comfortable stay,just bring food.Check out was 10 A.M. A little early for us but not too bad.  Lovely pine furniture, comfortable bed & beddings.  Wonderful host.  Will stay there again for sure.  Not one complaint.

A Quaint Place To Stay

Stayed at Cabot Trail Sea & Golf resort in early September.  Very clean and comfortable.  Although the place wasn't fancy, it was clean and had everything we needed.  The owner/reception was very friendly and helpful.  Kitchen was fully equipped and each cabin had a bbq.  Lots of restaurants close by.  I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.  Very close to the golf course.  We were lucky to hit an evening of live entertainment at the restaurant near by.

Perfect spot

Stayed here one night while on the Cabot Trail. Wished we could have stayed longer. The cabins are well appointed and maintained. Helpful staff gave us assistance in arranging  a flat tire repair.  Great location for hiking the nearby Skyline Trail.
