We loved this place and were gutted we only booked one night. The cabins are set in the woods and are positioned well that when you are in the cabin you feel like you are the only ones there. They are spotlessly clean and the bed was heaven, we never wanted to leave it. The kitchen was great, we only prepared breakfast and lunch as went out to Hop N Hog for dinner which we also loved but had we cooked we would have had everything we needed to prepare a meal. The location of the cabins are great for getting out and exploring Wells Grey national park and all the waterfalls. Stay here and you won't be disappointed.

Amazing!!! This is a real nice experience!  We enjoyed the quietness, the nature, the silence and the very nice and cosy cabins. We stayed with two families and the kids had their own new and modern cabin. The parents stayed at the wooden cabins which were very cosy as well.   We cooked our own bbq and pancakes at the outdoor bbq!  It was great!

We had the 3 cottages for 6 adults, the setting is charming and the cottages are very nice It's rustic but very clean and very functional The location is perfect to enjoy Clearwater Lake A very nice experience!!!

a haven of peace

We stayed for two nights in one of the three small cottages of host Frank. The cottages are located in Wells Gray Park, about 25 kilometers from the road to Clearwater Lake. The cottages are very well equipped and comfortable. The small terrace is especially nice where you can sit outdoors in the evening and enjoy the tranquility. Optimal location for all walks in Wells Gray Park. Check-in and out is totally uncomplicated. There is now also (a rather weak) Wi-Fi.

But not only is the location deserving of a five-star rating. The cabins are lovingly furnished and furnished. The reception was warm. Also, the Wells Gray P.P. offers a lot and is not too overcrowded in tourism. Next time we will stay longer than two nights... thank you for the pleasant stay.

Location, location

We liked the cottage very much. Parking right in front of the house - two neighbors in total - in the middle of nature - the house has everything you need. The heating works well and quickly. You're already in the park and to the places worth seeing is not far. The description did not say there was an Internet connection, but now there is even a SAT connection and you can stay up to date on the net if you want. We would book here anytime and the price is very reasonable again.

Dreamy accommodation in the middle of nature - brilliant

Booked two nights at the cabin but due to a mistake on my end I only ended up staying one. Such a pity, I loved this place :)

It is perfectly located - close to the day hike areas but also not too far from town so you can go out for dinner should you want to. There's a proper kitchen though so you could cook as well.

Extremely comfortable bed, I should add!

beautiful cabins right in the middle of wells gray provincial park.check in and check out was easy, frank welcomed us and give us a short introduction for the cabin and a short overview of the park.
the sound of the creek behind the cabins was perfect to relax.
the cabins have a full equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed an everything you need  ( wifi is newly available), it was clean and tidy
i can highly recommended the cabins, would definitely book again

There are no words. 

These three cabins are just beautiful. The creek in the background actually helps you sleep at night. So relaxing.

On arrival we had to call the owners to let them know we had arrived. He then came and met up with us, gave us an quick insight into Wells Gray park and left us to it. Available by phone if anything was needed. 

The area itself is massive. Definitely need a car to get around from the different view points and hikes. 

The only down side? The mosquitos. BRING DEET. They will get you through your clothes too so make sure you spray everywhere. 

The cabins supply citronella candles for the deck and a mosquito ring to try keep them at bay. And some fly swatters for the ones that get through. 

I'll definitely be back.

Speechless

We had booked this cabin to be in the middle of nature. We were very kindly received by Frank, the cabin was very well equipped, absolutely clean and very comfortable. We felt comfortable around the idyll. Frank also provided us with tips, including for dinner at the Nakiska Ranch (also recommended), since we had been quite late due to various stops on the trip from Jasper. A few tips again - we had done it wrong: We had to shop in Clearwater before, the way is right, once was for shopping and you spend a lot of time. We would come back anytime, which was a home that was quite to our liking.
