The hosts, Burk and Ken, are an utter delight who have decorated their home and yard with love and good taste. They go out of their way to make you welcome and add to your experience, like providing a pass to the nearby provincial park The accommodations are comfortable and breakfast is beyond special. And car buffs will delight in their collection of oldies but goodies. One thing, light sleepers might be bothered by the trains passing nearby.

Delightful hosts

Wife and I spent  3  fantastic days at the Burken B & B; enjoyed the food, bed, etc. etc.
It was Apple Blossom weekend so there were lots of fun activities and there's a small amusement park nearby.   Burk and Ken were excellent hosts and made us feel at home.   Grounds and landscape including a stream were beautiful.

Great B & B

Burke and Ken made our weekend get away very memorable with their hospitality and humor.  The accommodations were excellent, from the comfy beds to the splendid raised patio offering gorgeous views of the garden. The breakfasts were both art pieces and delicious. It was very convenient to get to and had easy parking in the driveway. We enjoyed the day at Presqu'ile Provincial park, a short dive away. We were very thankful to be given the park pass. We had two excellent dinners at the Whistling Duck which was also only a short drive.  We would highly recommend this B and B. 

An excellent B and B experience

We had a one night stay at this Bed and Breakfast
The host Ken and Burke met us on arrival. They took us to our room and made sure we were ok. They then provided us with where to go and see in the area. With that they provided us with a pass to the local park to go and see. Which we did and it was very nice as we saw lots of wild live including deer 
Next morning we went for breakfast at the agreed time which was 9 am that we requested
Whow. The service and the food preparation  was like you were in a 5 class hotel
The preparation and the table set up was just amazing. 
Both Ken and Burke made our stay very comfortable and chatted with us as if we had known them for years. First class experience. 
Had good Wifi and it was free
Some of the down falls which would not effect me returning are as follows
1- The train line is not that far away and you can if you are a light sleeper hear the train 
2- The pillows were not the best but they were other pillows in the closet that might have been better but it was only one night and we were just fine
3- the TV is outdated but it did not effect us. They were many channels to choose
4- if you are looking for a very private room experience it may become a problem but for us it had no effect 
5- at any one time you could have both rooms occupied and sharing one bath room and toilet could be an issue. For us we were lucky only one room was occupied during our stay 
I certainly give this place a high rating and would certainly return when I am in the area again

Burken B & B Gem in Brighton, Ontario

Only the best for our guests and they lived up to it. The grounds outside are beautiful and welcoming. Inside every attention is paid to detail. It is very clean and we were very comfortable in our rooms. Breakfast was delicious and you must try their signature "eggs Burken", fresh,delicious and original. The owners are very helpful if you need information about the area and they are extremely pleasant and hospitable. I would highly recommend this B&B. It was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast and it was excellent. 

Wonderful hosts and stay.

Should I hesitate to be truthful, if I do getting future  a booking will be harder.
My Daughter and and I stayed 2 nights, in July. You can tell right away these guys are ideal Hosts . They spread a welcome instantly .  My daughter has special needs , we were bathed in warmth and  empathy ,. the attention to detail was only overshadowed by the feeling of hospitality in a true sense of the word. the grounds and amenities are second to none . I can't wait to bring my family again .

almost to good to be true

If your travel itinerary has never included a Bed & Breakfast, Burken's B&B will be the reason why you should always make this an accommodation option going forward. Thanks to the covid, this year we tried many things we would never have considered, including visits to farms and spending time in rural towns in Ontario. We LOVED our stay at Burken's B&B. Burke and Ken are hospitality professionals with just the right personal touch which you will never get staying at regular hotels. Being at home away from home has never rung so true! We are so thankful to have met them, and for the privilege of sharing their lovely home and beautiful garden. They also went to great lengths to make sure health and safety procedures were in place, given the continued increase in covid cases. Also, their breakfast menu is out of this world delicious and artistic presentation quite unrivalled!  Highly recommended! We will be back again, if they'll have us :))

Charming and lovely surprise

This B and B was chosen by us because of its proximity to Presqu’il Provincial Park, where we met up with our children who were camping there. 
However, we were quite surprised at the beauty of the property, inside and out.
 The hosts were extremely friendly and forthcoming. The food beautifully presented and tasty.  Well appointed and everything well thought of.

A hidden gem

A perfect spot for an overnight (or more) stay. The scent of freshly mowed grass greeted us from the immaculate garden. The hosts are so charming and fun. The bed was perfection as well as the view of the trees outside. And then the amazing gourmet breakfast! So satisfying. So grateful to Burke and Ken. 

Exceeded expectations

My husband and I stayed only one night here and immediately felt so welcomed and relaxed.  Ken and Burke are two awesome people that make the best breakfasts ever! We loved the quiet road down from the house where we walked and the beautiful garden to enjoy.  Loved it and would defiantly go there again.
