The owners are a modest couple who live on the premises, so they are very available. If you need to book several thermostats for electric heating, last minute or in advance, for a short or long stay, they will respond with pleasure! They are the ones who work all the time and in all departments, they care about their business and it shows! Several renovations and improvements are often underway: the windows had just been changed in April, in summer, they changed the thermostats for electric heating, they set up new lights in the laundry room, they set up a friendly guest park with beautiful flowers. They have their motel well maintained. When we are so small after a 1000th of road, we arrive at the hotel. Josh is tired of waiting for us and he likes to record us in the refrigerated room, and he knows that the people in the bathroom, and he says, We have a nice, relaxing room, and we have a nice, relaxing, relaxing room. We have a good view of all the rooms in the bathroom.

I enjoyed my stay.

I do not ask much of a cheap motel room, but this one did not meet even my minimal standards.
The bare, tiny room has NO furniture besides the two huge beds and a beat-up dresser. No chair, No phone, No glasses. No lamp except for a cold, dim ceiling light. The top volume on the TV isn't loud enough to hear from the bed (where you have to sit to watch it.) The toilet is so close to the sink that I had to squeeze between them. (I am 5'7" and slender.) The floor was dirty, but the bathroom fixtures seemed clean enough. WiFi was available only if I sat outside. There are NO restaurants "nearby." To eat, you have to drive 15-20 minutes to downtown Collingwood. Wasaga Beach is 15-20 minutes away. The "service" at check-in was terse and unfriendly. The whole experience  was absolutely depressing. 
If all you need is a bed out of the rain for one night, it'll do, I suppose, but of all the cheap motels I have stayed in, this was the absolute worst, bar none. There are plenty of other motels in the area; any of them would be better than this, even at $110.

Only if you're desperate!

If we had a choice that day we would not stay at the relax inn 
Not a bad place . But it’s  a last choice for anyone  when all places got sold out
Place needs good update and care / location is good  .bathroom is clean and renovated .

Not again

A weekend in the Blue Mountain/Collingwood area Negative Point: Home to the person who takes you in and thinks he owns a 5-star motel and requires a passport to check in while I'm used to booking in hotels and motels and it's rare that they ask you for your passport. He found my French ID card useless in his eyes. (What is this? This is useless) Vintage rooms, decorated 80s with an old carpet in old age by the dirt and years. Uncomfortable and hard.

Motel from another time

My friend and I spent but 2 nights at Relax Inn and were beyond charmed by the owner. He was kind, understanding and encapsulated small town friendliness. I would thoroughly recommend staying here to anyone. The room was well kept and the pricing is reasonable. 

Incredible service

The motel is bit outdated but for a winter trip to blue mountain, you get what you pay for. And not many airbnb is available for cheaper nowadays. Bathroom could be better, towels are not very clean. There is a Microwave and all-in one old style fridge/stove.

Pleasant, friendly lady at check in who quickly responded to our request for a kettle and hair dryer.
However the rooms altho adequate need some refurbishment and tlc ( tender loving care)
The couple appear hard working and I wish them success with their business

Visiting the area

This was a cute little motel that accepted us at 3:30. It was clean and quiet. In need of some up grades but at that time in the morning the room was comfy and the price was right. Not to far away from a main street 

Just enough 

This motel is a little bit dated in the furniture, however, the room was very clean and comfortable.  It could used a coffee maker but there is non in any room.  There is a lot of construction going on in the area so a number of construction workers are living at the motel.  The only downfall was the guy next door played his TV WAY TOO LOUD THE WHOLE NIGHT!!!

Comfortable bed and room

Hubby and I stayed in Collingwood for a few days at the beginning of August, We wanted to check out the caves and do a bit of exploring. We rented a room at the Relax Inn. The rate was only $65.00 plus taxes per night during the week for a single queen sized bed. There was a microwave and fridge in the room. It was within walking distance to a good steak house restaurant, the Rockdell Steak House. Good food! and lots of it.
What I liked most about the motel was the proprietors. A nice young couple who really made you feel welcome. They learned it was our wedding anniversary and my birthday the next day. In the morning the man had made a pot of coffee and his wife had given me roses and a bottle of wine. Besides being very nice, they were very informative about where to go and what to do in Collingwood. If we ever go back that way, we will be sure to stay there again.
