Horrible service gentleman at the front desk was very rude and judgemental. We just just finished a long day at work in construction and we were stuck in town due to a forest fire he refused us service due to our appearance and claimed I vandalized my own credit card in an attempt to commit a fraudulent charge.

Courtney super 8

Our room was a deluxe 2 queen bed room. It had a good size tv, microwave, and nice size bar fridge. We were on the quiet side of the building so we appreciated that as there is a Ambulance station across the street on the other side of the building. 
Both beds were tilted towards the head of the bed, so our feet were quite a bit higher then our heads. Bring your own pillows if you want a comfortable one. If you want nice toilet paper and Kleenex bring your own, as both are very thin and crunchy. Our air conditioner was not working. The controller knob  did very little when turned. The toilet in our bathroom was constantly running (water) . 
The free breakfast was ok. It had boiled eggs, fried sausages, cereal, fruit, bread, yogurt, fruit juice, coffee with packaged powder cream. 
If you get a good deal price wise with this motel , It might suffice for a night or 2. But $150 a night as we paid , Is way to high for what you get or do not get. I am afraid we will not be back , and will not be advising our relatives or friends to stay here.  

Not so Super of a stay

The motel is located near downtown and the main intersection.  It was clean with lots of parking.  The breakfast had some good choices.  I will stay there again.  There is some space for oversize vehicles. 

Good choice

Hotel was very quiet and comfortable. Bed was comfy but pillows were too big. If you sleep with a thin pillow, you best bring your own!  Freezer in the bar fridge needed a good defrosting as we could hardly fit anything in it due to ice build up.

Quiet hotel

I needed a motel room for a few days until my apartment was ready. I had prepaid on booking- when I arrived, I was told that the owner would not rent to locals. Despite having already paid, they were going to cancel my reservation. I had to use an old driver's license from Vancouver (and essentially lie about my address) to keep the reservation. When I got in the room, it was immediately apparent the Motel had several Prostitutes operating there, because there were "Johns" coming and going all hours of the night. Disgraceful service.

Rooms are very modern, spacious,  and clean!  Nice spread and choices for the free breakfast!  We loved staying here.  The location is very convenient also.  We will definitely stay again!!  We also found it nice and quiet.  Can’t wait to stay again!

Pleasantly surprised!

I forgot my work ID in the clothes closet hanged at one of clothes hanger and left,  called the second day the hotel and they told me they can't find it and usually they throw what ever thier guests left in the garbage!!!!!!!!! It is work ID has my pictures and employment Number and my name on it,  you have all my information my phone number etc,  how do you do something like this

Unreasonable house keeping staff

i have stayed at this hotel many times in my travels. it’s quiet, clean with friendly staff. in Courtenay this is my place to stay. I shop in Courtenay so i use this hotel to stay while in Courtenay. comfortable too

great place to stay

Good place to wait for the roads to be passable and get to the airport. It was and the we were able to get to our flight on time. It met our needs perfectly and was comfortable, clean and the staff were great.

Overnighter

This newly renovated motel provides clean and comfortable rooms with great beds and a convenient location. You can park almost beside your room and pets are welcome. Set in from the main road, it's quiet and stress-free. Staff are friendly and helpful.
