The resident owner of six years provides renovated, comfortable & clean accomodation at a great price. The patio covering the former outdoor pool enables a place to enjoy being outdoors. Suggest calling ahead as this place is very booked up from June onwards.

Clean & Affordable Kootenay Gem

Tiny motel along the highway. Room was clean. Fridge and microwave worked. Water temp in shower will not retain consistant temperature. Bed was comfortable. Owners were very friendly. No ice machine but they gladly gave us a tray of ice cubes when asked. Parking lot is paved and easy to get in and out. Pool has been converted to a patio so that is quite a disappointment. Air conditioner worked but was very noisy. It is right next to the highway but we didn't hear highway traffic at all.

Cozy And Clean

We booked this motel because we had stayed here before and were looking forward to a swim in the pool after a hot day of driving.  the pool has been filled in with cement and is now a fenced patio, which was not appealing.  I could have handled no pool but the floor in our room was sticky, the rug was filthy, there were huge clumps of black hair in the tub drain, and the furnishings were ugly, super disappointing!

Be AWARE! We specifically booked this Motel because it says it has a pool. The pool has been covered over and is now a patio. The photos you see are outdated. If you are looking for a refreshing break for your trip - KEEP GOING!!!

Stayed here with my parents, long weekend in August. First off beds were very uncomfortable thinking same ones for many years? Motel very dated, does not have a pool as advertised, its along a very busy highway, and very dangerous to pull onto as it is a hidden driveway,on a busy day virtually impossible to make a left turn on to road. It was however a clean room, and was perfect for family to visit outside and they put us all together.

Not what we expected 

Quiet and very clean little motel. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Allowed us early entry to our room. Comfortable beds, free wifi and amazing water pressure.  Walkable distance to local restaurants.  Will definitely stay again in the future.

Great little nugget in Creston

Traveling through so we stayed here for one night, clean and cozy and back enough from highway to have a good sleep. We have stayed here before and now it was even better than last time which was 6 years ago.

After spending 10 hours on the road we decided to give this place a try. Was quoted 10 dollars more in person than any travel site. Dog friendly signs all over the property as long as an additional 20 dollars doesnt bother you. All in was 120 bucks for a terrible night. The pool in the pictures is now a patio, so dont expect a swim. The bathroom door wouldnt shut due to being warped. The wifi didnt work. The close neighbours of our non smoking room seemingly awoke at 11pm and smoked weed and cigarettes right outside our window, which was open because the a/c wasnt working. Thankfully they left for work at around midnight. The owner "gave us a deal" and only charged us 15 bucks for our small non barking non allergenic dog. Apparently the room needed a "deep clean". Previous tenants left half a pair of glasses under the bed.....must have been missed during the thorough cleaning.Nice people, but the do anything for a buck attitude kind of turned me off. Keep driving.

Keep Driving

With the heat in Creston, we booked this motel planning on cooling down in the pool.  We checked in, and when we asked about the padlock on the pool, we were told that it was not working.  After much discussion, we were finally given a refund.
