We had a wonderful 3 night stay at this B&B.  Our room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and filled with everything we needed.  It felt like being in a home away from home. I enjoyed making coffee in the room every morning, the toiletries and hairdryer were appreciated, and it was great to have a fridge.  Heidi is an excellent host, and in addition to preparing a delicious daily breakfast (she even provided gluten-free toast for me!), she was friendly and full of great tips about local hikes and sites.  I loved having an evening glass of wine on our patio, with a great view of Davis Bay.  The location is less than a 10 minute drive to Sechelt, and it is a great area for daytime and evening walks - Heidi recommended the Chapman Trail and it was my favorite activity during our short stay.  

I love this place!

Stayed here overnight on our way to Powell River and it was a very good decision. As first timers at this area, Davis Bay B&B put us on the right track. It’s a beachfront property and near to many cafes & restaurants. Bedroom is very clean and surprisingly very cool in spite of the heat wave during our vacation. 
Heidi is a very gracious host and attends to her guests very well.
This is worth recommending as a place to stay if you want to have a vacation in Sechelt.

A very comfortable place to stay!

My family and I had a wonderful stay to celebrate my birthday.
The location is incredible next to stunning beaches.
The property is beautiful and relaxing.
Mena and Ken are so thoughtful hosts. 
Their homebaked breakfasts served on a big patio are delicious. 
I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

KYE BAY BED & BREAKFAST COMOX

Established B&B with an excellent breakfast of multiple selections, served at our preferred time. We found the garden view ensuite room quiet but very small. There was no indoor common area for quests.  Good location for exploring the Sunshine Coast.

Well located between Sechelt and Gibsons

Beautiful stay in this B&B. The room was spacious, very comfortable and clean. The host was super nice and accomodating. Breakfast was delicious. The room has a fridge, kettle, coffee machine and plenty of coffee and tea.
In the entrance section there is sherry available foe a quick soothing drink. Nice touch.
The B&B is located in a great position. Beautiful view of the ocean. Nice waterfront walk and close to some shops and snack places.

thank you  carrie  and heidi ,to upgrade  us  to ocean  view  room  with  nice  patio  we  appreciate  it  very much  . we  hope  to  see  you both  again  after  corana virus  pandemic .your  place  is like  home me  and my daughter  enjoyed  it very  much we  stay  up late  to see   the  beautiful sun set and we even cook/bbq  some oysters  and drink a bit wine . we  made  our  coffee  twice  because  we  like  the taste  of it  that is  a plus  ,our  breakfast  is  so  wonderful   the best  homemade  waffle  if i knew  i ask  for more  and   fresh  cut  assorted  fruits  is a nice  touch  .we stay  untill 11:am  sitting  up  fronth it is  lovely  stay  ,  thank you  both  again  

to get  some distance from work

This B and B is in a central location in Sechelt, close to many of the amenities of “downtown”. The furnishings and overall finishing is very dated. When you book here you are only getting the very basics of accommodation:  a bed and a place to shower. The room I had was very small, tiny bathroom that can only accommodate one person. This would not be good for a couple. 
The house is also fairly old and very “ noisy”. Lots of squeaky floors and water sounds through out. For the price I would have expected a little more. 
I travel to sechelt frequently and can say that it is very unlikely that I would book here again. 
It’s not terrible.... there are just way better places to stay than here.

Very dated but clean

We had a wonderful time here and loved every part of it. Beautiful place to stay and great rooms and breakfast. Heidi was very helpful with information for travelling and helped out in every possible way.  Thanks so much Heidi!

AMAZING!

Well, where to start ... like so many other reviewers on here, we saw the ocean photos and fell for it. Our stay had been booked for several months and prior to us leaving UK we had emailed to advise that we would be coming over on on of the Sunshine Coast ferries and would be arriving early evening. So heidi knew we were on the way ...
On arrival she answered the door and as other guests have commented in their reviews, there was no welcoming greeting. Instead we were told that she hadn't checked her books that day, had forgotten we were coming and had put other guests in our room. She moved their belongings out into one of the much larger rooms at the front and we were put in the Guest Room which overlooked the garden. This was the room we had booked and although it was comfortable it was quite cramped for 2 people. it would not be possible for 2 people to have a breakfast tray in the room as there is only one chair at the corner desk.
The shower room was very small but very well stocked with toiletries.
Heidi suggested places for us to eat that evening and they were very good suggestions.
We were given a breakfast form to fill in and breakfast was freshly cooked although I must say it was dfisappointing not to be offered a coffee refill on either morning.
Other guests have also commented on the lack of warmth on leaving the property. We had settled our bill the night before so once we had finished breakfast it was just a quick " goodbye then" and we were left to just go back downstairs and see ourselves out.
We were not aware that sherry was there for visitors if they wanted any.
The property is indeed in a lovely location and Heidi will give ideas for walks if you ask. It is a very busy main road though and we were glad to be at the back overlooking the garden.
This property has so much potential but it would have been nicer if we had felt more welcome and valued as customers and visitors.

Mixed feelings

My sister and I stayed here. We were looking to relax and pamper ourselves a little after hiking part of the Sunshine Coast trail, and this B&B sure delivered! Our room was gorgeous, and had views of the garden. We had the perfect hosts, who struck the right balance between being personable and giving us space.
