Our room was huge, but only with a double bed ( was advertised and booked as a queen). Bed was memory foam and comfy. Very little lighting in the room , so found it dark. Enough outlets for phones, etc. 
Bathroom was big, but poorly set up. Storage was almost nada, and vanity could have been longer.
Shower head was awful. If you are taller than 5'5, you are kissing the wall to get wet!
Great set up in room with large mirror, but too bad the lighting sucked and there was zero outlet close by for hair dryer/curling iron!
Also, no microwave.

Not as Advertised 

We stayed for one night to break up a long drive.  The room was odd in that it was quite large with one queen bed and sparsely furnished so it felt like there was a lot of wasted space.  The tv remote volume did not work and it was a puzzle to figure out how to get the tv on.  The bathroom was sooo dark and there was only a small shelf to put items on, no counter top at all, which would have been nice and there is more than enough room to have one.  The lighting overall was terrible, low and made it feel dark and dreary.  

The food and service at the restaurant was excellent.  Overall the stay was fine and met our needs but the layout of the room and lighting definitely made it feel odd and out of sorts.

Was okay and met our needs for a stop over 

The room was comfortable and the prices have gone up considerably since last year which would not have been an issue of we had been  notified that  renovations were not completed(they projected end of February..now it's sometime in April).   The restaurant and bar areas were closed and there are not many options nearby that are open every day of the week.  Also, the small exercise area, the pool and hot tub were closed. 

Call before you book and ask if the restaurant, pool and hot tub are open.   

I can’t believe they charge $127 a night for these awfull room, really small room with old smelly carpet and it was 13 degrees in the room when we got in at midnight. We took 2 rooms on the exterior and they were both the same. The first and last time and one of the worst room I stayed in. The price definitely did not match.

Outdated and smelly

Stayed one night in the hotel section which is more updated than the motel. The room was spacious well appointed and clean.  Fresh and tasty breakfast including delicious ham, baked beans and fruits.  Reasonably priced. Staff was pleasant.  We will be back.  

Great value 

This was my 2nd stay and it definitely wasn't great. Pillows are terrible! Flat, no support. Bedding was lacking, 1 sheet and a very thin blanket. I realize it's summer but we all enjoy a cozy blanket. The room had a musty off putting  odor and I woke up sick ! I wasn't sick upon arrival. Wifi wouldn't connect despite trying several times. 
Won't stay here again.

Left Disappointed

We are driving a lot lately to get to our destination, this was the perfect stop for one night for our family it was a huge room for us, it was very clean and fresh looking, the Wi-Fi worked and the bathrooms were also very clean. 
We are English, but we had very little trouble with translating from French, I did try to order in French but the Waiters were very understanding!
Overall a lovely stay and great breakfast! 6$ off for room coupon, and  a free menu (because of our stay!

Excellent Sleep!

The service and staff at Hotel 1212 are great.  Food is great, the hotel and motel are clean and very comfortable.  It was a great find.  We always stay there on our trips from Nova Scotia to Ontario.   The shopping in the area is very good too.

Great Find!

I was pleasantly surprised to see such a large and well appointed hotel in such a small community. Our room was massive. It was probably one of their wheelchair accessible rooms.  Had a bit of an issue getting the air conditioner regulated but were successful in the end.  The room was lovely (on the main floor) with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. Beds and linens were good quality.  There was a restaurant on site, which was much appreciated after a long driving day.

Very nice Hotel

We stayed on our way from ont to new Brunswick and back.rooms were neat and clean ,check in was pleasant,we booked room over phone while we were on the road.we chose this hotel as it is minutes from hwy and the price was considerably less than the hotel we stayed previous in Edmundston.we will definitely stay again on our way to New Brunswick again.
