What a wonderful discovery. We found The Farm B&B online for an overnight while needing to be in the area.  

While greeted enthusiastically by the family’s 2 German Shepherds and Innkeeper, Marcia..we weren’t sure what to expect. Once inside the magic begins. 

The living room boasts a massive state-of-the-art HD TV, the Library is packed with books for quite and cosy reading and upstairs has several bedrooms and bathrooms ( some ensuite) that are each immaculate and decorated with Country charm and quality accessories. We were treated to a 4 poster Queen Suite with private bath.   It was tasteful and first quality. Towels and Bedding of a 5 Star Hotel.

Everywhere you turn inside,  it is more spotless. Clean beyond belief.  And so many delightful surprises. 

Super host, Marcia, asked what we’d like for Breakfast and what time ? We chose Waffles and Bacon.   Delicious. Coffee. Full bodied and fresh brewed.   We even got Granola and Yogourt with fresh strawberries.  

I could go on but then you’d think I work there. We recommended to our local friends to tell their friends and vIsitors. 
As far as Country B&B’s go, it doesn’t get better.   

Far exceeded expectations! We’ll be back 

We went for a two night weekend but stayed an extra night. Robin and Marcia are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome and very much at home. Marcia prepared lovely breakfasts and was most accommodating when it came dietary needs. It's a real working farm with crops and animals. The house is spotless with nicely appointed rooms. We'll be back.

A wonderful stay

We stayed for just one evening with Robin and Marcia, but it was very homey and comfortable. The king size bed was welcome and comfortable and Marcia made a delicious breakfast to order- I have never seen that before at a B and B-it felt like staying with family in the country. We found it a bit tricky to find, however we were travelling late in the afternoon and we were tired.
My only recommendation would be that the room needs a suitcase rest, it is a challenge for older people living out of a suitcase to lay it open on the bed or floor and then have to close and move it continually.
Overall, a pleasant experience with hard working and friendly hosts. Just what you would expect in Southern Ontario.

Home on the Farm

We had a beautiful room, decorated superbly in an Asian influence, with very comfortable king-size bed and plenty of pillows.
The breakfast is 4-star country breakfast. We had fresh fruits with yogurt, waffles with warm maple syrup and home-made butter, bacon, baked eggs, home-made bread and cakes, all very delicious, and Marsha is a great breakfast cook.
There's a large living room, a library, and a very modern kitchen for your use. The house is surrounded by beautiful gardens. There's a back porch for your use, fruit trees in the back yard, and a few steps take you to the outdoor pool, which is perfect to cool down in a hot summer day.
We find the place very clean and tastefully decorated. Our hosts Marsha and Robin are very friendly and respect your privacy.
The Farm is a central location to explore the country, with side trips to Long Point, Turkey Point, Port Dover, Tillsonburg, and Woodstock. We took a short trip to Burning Kiln Winery and tasted some awesome wines.
